Giants & Skins fans teaming up against "Mike's" selection to HOF

And I don't think Reed is a HOFer either.
Not that I disagree, but you should have heard Jim Kelly practically making a case for him this afternoon.

This is complete BS. A guy who finished #1 of all time when he retired cant make it into the hall of fame?

yet, a damn coke addict can make it in? just shows the state the NFL today:bang2:

You are a complete IDIOT. Go to your own board and whine with the rest of your LOSER buddies... This is a GREAT day for one of ours.. Stop crying and step off!!!!

or maybe they are just more favorable to your triplets compared to the Commanders...
It's sad that your franchise will continue to be the bottom feeders of the NFCE, the Cowboys will always rule you and the entire NFCE. So run along now, go back to extremetrash.com , and stop f'ing with our celebration of a great football player who helped us win 3 rings in the 90s.

Why do so many of you worry or even think about what the Giants and Skins fans think. They along with Eagles fans have the worst case of envy in the Western world. All 3 of them dump on the Cowboys as often as they can. Skins fans seem convinced they haven't won more SB cause of poor ref calls or that the NFL is prejudiced against them. Giants fans think their team is terrible when they lose a few in a row like they did this year but still think they have better team they anybody else. And Eagle fans are a joke and so is their team -- only NFC East team w/o a SB trophy.

so irvin played on some of the greatest teams of all times and he had more oppurtunities? If it wasnt for smith and aikman he wouldnt have near the numbers.

if it wasnt for Smith and Irvin, Aikman wouldnt have near the numbers

Hell, none of them deserve to be in

This Cowboy fan actually feels bad for Art Monk.

He should have been in a few years ago, and he got unfairly snubbed once agian imo.

Nothing against Irvin here. A key piece to one of the best teams ever.

Just can't get over Monk being snubbed once again. Next year Chris Carter is eligible too. I watched Art play my whole life listening to everyone constantly refer to him as a lock for the HOF.

You guys havn't won the division in like 9years.

Still here? Geesh.. Don't get me started on who should be there, I can start with Drew Pearson, and go on from there. The Cowboys have tons of guys who should be in the HOF, so take your whiney deadskin loser franchise "can only win during strike years" mental disabled owner of yours, take your pig costume wearing fans, and go back to extremetrash.com.... Adios.

congrats on Irvin's selection, he deserves to be in there bassed on his stats.
Art Monk will get in eventually, hopefully next year. It was stunning that they didn't both get in but I guess the secret ballots will keep us from truley understanding the process.

With Chris Carter being up next year I just don't see Monk getting in.

I think Monk will get in eventually, and again I think he deserves it.

That said, the player who **should** be a lock for the HoF and yet will always be snubbed for some reason unbenownst to me is Charles Haley and his 5 freaking Super Bowl rings.

Dude's the best pass rusher of the decade not name Reggie White, was an integral part of FIVE superbowl champions, and doesnt make it past the first 50 every year.

I think he was taking out his frustration with the couple skins fans who took it upon themselves to come here and start trashing Michael Irvin on you.

You were just a casualty :D

Art Monk suffers from the same syndrome that Drew Bledsoe suffers from. Put up big stats, but was not consistently one of the tops at their position throughout their respective eras.

Art Monk was in the top 10 in receptions, receiving yards, and TDs on a season by season basis for the following:

Receptions: 1984-1, 1985-2, 1988-9t, 1989-3t
Receiving yards: 1984-4, 1985-3, 1989-10
Receiving TDs: 1991-9t

Compared to Michael Irvin:

Receptions: 1991-2, 1992-7, 1993-3, 1995-5
Receiving yards: 1991-1, 1992-2, 1993-2, 1994-8, 1995-4, 1997-8t
Receiving TDs: 1991-9t, 1992-8t, 1993-9t, 1995-10t, 1997-6t
Yards from scrimmage: 1991-4, 1992-10, 1993-8, 1995-9

Art Monk put some pretty good numbers due to longevity. However if I had a vote I would probably vote him in. I can understand though why Monk is not the lock that Skins fan think he should be.

I've always liked Art Monk and similar to Harry Carson I hope he finally gets his due. I am still pissed that Steve Young was a 1st ballot Hall of Famer over Irvin. I know Steve and I like him, but no way was he more deserving than Irvin. JMO.

I wanted Irvin to go in with Troy & Rayfield last year.

I believe Art Monk should be in, but his exclusion has nothing whatsoever to do with Michael Irvin. Michael isn't a HOF Voter. The voters are keeping him out of the class of 2007, not Michael Irvin.

I have little patience for readskin trollin, especially on a glorious day where one of our greats go into the HOF.

Would trolling be saying things like the Cowboys will always rule the NFCE or trashing charitable organizations?

Or was I trolling somehow...
