Explain to me how the process of the catch to the ground even applies in that situation.
Clean catch...3 steps in bounds, feet hit out of bounds...hello? Isn't the play over once the feet hit out of bounds? Then he goes down after the play is over and loses the ball. I get the stupid rule in bounds and in the end zone, but he had the catch in bounds and in control when his feet toe tapped again out of bounds, ending the play....how can the rule be continued after feet hitting out of bounds. The NFL is just so F-ed up it's sickening.
