Yeah...they should have built a dome. Unless we have a year with an uncharacteristic heat wave, we'll probably never see a Super Bowl hosted at Giants Stadium.

What's even more pathetic, is that it will be called "Giants Stadium" and the Jets will still play there :laugh1:

Doesn't matter if that year has a heat wave because the Super Bowl is determined before the current football year starts.

I seriously doubt they'll EVER have a Super Bowl in an open-aired stadium north of the Mason-Dixon Line.

We're 5-1 there so far. Some advantage.

No Barry, the advantage that gets teams up is that they are playing the Cowboys. No team fires other players up to play more. It's called TV ratings and exposure. beating them is always a big thing, even when they aren't so good.

Yeah the Cowboys are like everyone else's Super Bowl each week.

Winter weather has never permitted a winter weather team with an open air stadium from hosting a Super Bowl and most likely never will.

Not bad, but kind of sterile-looking compared to Cowboys Stadium, IMO. Ours has a more unique look and that videoboard (whether you like it or not) and the open end zones set us apart.
I drive by the place a lot. It's a generic as can be. The only thing setting it apart from any of the others is the light show.
