I am 100% rooting for the Giants to win, because it'd bring Eagles fans who think their team is awesome back down to earth. On the /r/nfl subreddit there's a lot of "we lost better to the chiefs than the cowboys did to the broncos so we're the best team in the NFCE now" which is laughable.

Not going to happen though. This Giants team looks like they're going to be drafting in the top 5.

From a purely emotional standpoint, LOL. This town (Philly) will explode on Monday if they lose their home opener to what is a terrible Giants team at this point.

Giants. We got the win on them already and it places a loss within the division for our three rivals.

:huh:I missed were I said I hope they all break their necks. But let's not let that stop you from overreacting. A case of turf toe will do nicely to keep key players from taking the field when they get to us.... that's what I'm talking about but silly me was too vague and so of course you will assume the worst.
Based on some of the comments I've seen you are correct. Honestly, out of curiosity, wouldn't you want them to beat the best?

Most athletes want to play the best the other teams have to offfer because it challenges them and gives them more satisfaction when they win.

I would much rather beat Brady in the Super Bowl over some scrub QB just because Brady got hurt.

Obviously, we're rooting for misery of both teams always.

I'm gonna say it's better for us if the Giants win. Philly already has a win over Washington, we don't need them going 2-0 in the division.

But, the Giants would essentially be cooked with a 0-3 start.

What say you?

You sound worse than a Philly fan or maybe you are a Philly fan. Were you cheering in the crowd when Irvin almost broke his neck in Philly or were you here being a hypocrite and ranting about how classless and disgusting Philthy fans are for cheering an injury?

We obviously want Giants to win but they won't.
Oh stop already.

Your shtick is tired. Go fight some crusade on some other message board, preferably your Giants board.

With that said, I want both of these **** all Orgs 1-2

I hope it's an extremely embarassing game for both teams (low scoring, tons of turnovers, poor play, injuries galore, etc) and the Giants pull off the win 13-10. Like every else is saying, the Giants Offense is looking so bad that getting to 8-8 might take some lucky breaks. The Eagles, on the other hand, have a better shot to 9 to 10 wins. In addition to that, the Eagles already have 1 divisional win and will be playing us in the final regular season game.
