Eli is not even worth 2nd round money..He's on a good team and does a good job handing the ball off.
I would say if we were playing monopoly the giants paid for park place and got Baltic avenue. This will make them pucker that much more with the resigning of Brandon Jacobs in the FA market frenzy. Anyone else think that the FA market may not be the frenzy of fantastic money being thrown about because for the economy? I keep thinking that fiscal responsibility will hit the NFL and this economy seems like the perfect time to tighten up the FA market spending madness for mediocrity.iluvashnjj;2576862 said:It is not how much your worth, is how much can you negotiate now

tomson75;2577270 said:No, he hasn't. He's just along for the ride. There are 10-15 QB's in this league that could've won the super bowl with that Giants team.

tomson75;2577290 said:You shouldn't assume I'm making this into a "Tony is better than Eli" thing....but yes, I do. It's not entirely Tony's fault that this team sucks in December and January. That Giant team was far from sucking at that point...if you put a better QB than Eli in that situation, logic would suggest that he's just as, if not more capable of producing the same result.

or
When Eli escaped a sack and heaved the ball up and Tyree caught it on his head
Yeah... Romo could do those things....
Vinnie2u;2577304 said:I respectfully disagree.. I'm no way a Giant fan but The Giants have been in the Playoffs the last 4 years and have won a Super Bowl. They have lost the following players Shockey, Barber, Strahan and Umenyiora. Give the man some credit he has improved.

Or Peyton Manning....BraveHeartFan;2577282 said:Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer once 'led' their teams to a Superbowl championship as well...did that mean that within the next year or two after that they should have been given 100+ million dollars?
Absolutely not.
I need multiple rings for 100+ million dollars.
