And stability is great.......if you are consistently getting positive results. Stability is great in New England, PIttsburgh, Seattle, Green Bay.

It's not so good when results consistently fail to meet expectations. Or when you follow up a good regular season with playoff failures followed by bad regular seasons the year after.

I have stuck with Garrett longer than most people around here. But it's time to get off this roller coaster. A legitimate argument may be that Jerry hires somebody worse. I worry about that too. Not interest in having Houston Nutt as a coach.

But it is a chance I am now willing to take.

This is reasonable.

For my part, I want what I've wanted the last several offseasons. Address the defensive shortcomings for real, and let's see where that gets us. They've done too little, run too many risks, and made too many mistakes on that side of the ball.

If that doesn't work, I'd actually agree that a coaching change is the next thing you look at at that point. Hard as it is in my opinion to find a guy who will be successful in Dallas.

It takes balls to fire a coach that has gone 2-10?
Or a GM that has spent a lot of money in FA with little return in year two?

Not like the fans loved the coach or he was widely respected around the NFL. He was a second year offensive minded coach that coached a team that struggled to put up points.
19 PPG in 16 and 15.8 PPG in 17.
In year two? Absolutely, Jerry wouldn't have done it. None of our fans love our HC either, and he's not widely respected around the league either.
