You could say the same thing about our game vs the Eagles last year.

The point is....they've made the plays.

That's last year and that's our offense. That has nothing to do with what I am talking about. I am talking about this year's Eagles offense, not our offense. The Eagles offense is a big play offense they aren't the type of team to methodically drive down the field on defense from what I have seen. The loss they had against the Raiders they had very few big plays. In their wins they usually have about 3-4 of them.

I'd love to see Jenkins just plaster Jackson to the ground with a bump on the line. I think that is the key to covering him. You can't let him off the line smooth and get into full speed.

A couple weeks ago, houdathunk the Cowboys and Eagles would be tied for the division lead? The Giants are getting spanked 30-7 at the half, and the Eagles are actually playing good! Hopefully we can beat them to take over sole possession of first place, but its just surprising how the mighty Giants have fallen.

I can't figure out how we lost to the Giants. Though they aren't nearly as dismal as the Raiders, that is one game I would love to have back.

The Cowboys had 4 turnovers against the team and still they needed a last minute field goal to win. There's no question to me that the Cowboys are a better team than the Giants, and the b est team in the division. In both of their losses, they beat themselves.

That's really how I see it. Every week, it's like the Cowboys lining up against themselves.

The Giants aren't even a playoff team, IMHO.

Plus, that Giants team the Cowboys faced earlier is not at all the same team that is playing right now. They are really beat up and are looking old. Bet they can't for bye week 10, so they can mend a little.

You cover him one way. DOn't let him get behind you other than that there isn't much he does. He usually has one big play a game or nothing. He's not gonna go over the middle and catch it he just runs straight and gets behind the defense.

Then he'll burn us with slants and crossing patterns. He's not a complete WR but he is quick and fast.

OTOH, one or two very good hits might temper him some.

Very surpising to me.

I havent seen the eagles game yet but Bill Sheridan as many of us thought early on doesnt seem to have a knack for calling blitzes and creating pressure the way steve s. did.

Not sure if that is why they are losing or not, but pressure was their calling card and They havent had much of it.

Then you add in manning turning the ball over like crazy and you start losing.

The giants are always at their best as an underdog, so for me personally I fear them more in this role than as the favorite.
