their is an old saying, the game isnt over till the fat lady sings;

game isnt over yet in other words

granted with lead on giants now, eagles should win; but giants have come back before from such a devicit

would be great for us if giants lose, gives us a chance for east lead and playoff bye

but you play the games one at a time, then let the chips fall at the end

the giants have never come back from a big lead like that. Their offense is not built to come from behind

If one injured player that isn't the quarterback has that kind of impact, then they should have never been annointed the division favorite to begin with.

Not necessarily true IMO. The loss of Bob Sanders had a HUGE impact on the Colts when he was out. Totally different team with him in there.

"Kenny Phillips???"

"New Orleans???"

Dallas giftwrapped four turnovers for New York. 24 points in a two point loss where Dallas scored 31 of its points without the benefit of neither special teams nor defensive scoring. "Super" safety Kenny Phillips was the beneficiery of a Romo pass which took a freakish bounce off Witten's foot deep in Dallas territory; and an errant deep pass meant for Hurd, where he was lined up like a baseball center fielder 35 yards downfield!

You make it sound as if Phillips was some incredible playmaker who was the difference maker in the game. It was luck, not skill, which handed him his first interception. The Giants defensive coordinator must receive a huge chunk of credit to line up his safety nearly forty yards off the line of scrimmage in anticipation of the deep pass for his second INT.

Taking that into account, along with Felix Jones dropping a kickoff return without being touched deep in Dallas territory, it's easy to assume that it was the Cowboys, and not the Saints, who provided the blueprint for beating the Giants. If I were to go by your claim, Kenny Phillips would be seen providing smothering coverage on both Witten and Hurd to create those two turnovers.

That wasn't the case. Dallas drafted the blueprint. They simply didn't provide it's final draft (e.g. the win).

Actually I totally disagree on him, he's out all the time and they do just fine without him. He's the most overrated defensive player in the league, and his DPOY of the award is the biggest joke in awards history.

Jackson doesn't like going over the middle and won't if he doesn't have to. I saw him short arm a ball thrown by McNabb a few times. He really doesn't burn people on slants.

I would agree about over the middle in LB territory but he's everywhere deep altho it seems he catches more fly and flag patterns.

...Dallas MUST pressure McNabb or it's going to be VERY difficult to beat them at the Linc...if the Eagles o-line really is vulnerable right now then Dallas will have to prove it if they want to win this game...Safety play will be pivotal against Jackson and Celek...then there's the matter of Westbrook, who'll surely play next sunday...tough game...Austin will get to prove himself against some of the best cornerbacks in the conference over the next two weeks...we know he can kill the Packers but the Eagles are another matter...the Eagles look like they will once again be the biggest obstacle for the Cowboys this year...

...we learned today that the Giants are just not very good right now and their secondary issues will continue to be tough to overcome...they are not a play from behind team...the New Orleans game was no aberration...Manning is starting to regress and Bradshaw is really taking a beating...if he goes down, the Giants season could quickly follow...Jacobs is not the guy who makes it go...

...while it's still too early to write them off, they have the look of a team that will not be without serious challenges for the remainder of the season...if they had lost to Dallas in week two they'd be .500 right now...

I agree completely. This is gonna be a fist fight.
