that 09 season was the best from any Dallas corner in a long time, can you name one better? Scandrick, Claiborne, Carr..certainly not. I don't even know if Newman's best season compares.

That's the mindset and strategy from our loser DC. I've made a thread about it and still to this day have no idea why people think he's a good coach. He might have been back in the day but he's not now. His scheme is so outdated for today's NFL.

Agreed. I don't even blame our DB's. They are doing what they are supposed to in this scheme - keep the play in front of them and don't let anybody get downfield. It leads to relatively long gashing drives by opposing offenses that are demoralizing. Its no coincidence that Carr, Claiborne, and Church all have interceptions this year already.

Newman last year was top 10 ranked CB in the league.

He went what, 2-3 years with us without giving up a TD? Newman was relevant a lot longer than Jenkins. Jenkins did play well in 2009, but that was it.
