I swear so much of the NFL is mental. The only way you can explain how the Broncos can completely shut down Ezekiel Elliott but get gashed by Orleans Darkwa.

Apparently it is hard to get up for an 0-5 team. 9 times out of 10 Denver mops the floor with them. Apparently this number 10.

I think you might be forgetting how good Buddy Ryans defense was in those days. Reggie White. Jerome Brown. Many others. Two excellent CB's that drove Micheal Irvin crazy.

Let me summarize it for you. We are all just a bunch of optimistic Cowboy fans on this thread.

He made plays for one season. Outside of that, he was trash.

Really huge disappointment, after he got burned a few times in 2010, all enthusiasm he had for the game seemed to go away.

Newman was the closest thing to Sanders we had. The disrespect he gets here is unwarranted, and he's still in the league playing at a decent level when he'll be 100 in a few months.

In 2011, he wasn't that ball hawk but he was playing with more passion like he did in 2009 with all the injuries and he showed a lot of toughness. Especially in the first two games.
