Giants Win! Cowboys Improve Draft Spot!

The Giants have some guys I have to respect.
The whining, crybaby QB isn't one of them. After what he pulled on draft day I will never have any use for him.

Like what John Elway pulled upon being drafted by the Colts (one week after the draft)?

I hate Eli and Peyton very much. I hope the Pats whip em up big time!

22 and 28 there abouts actually comes close to #4 overall, poitnts wise.

if mcfadden is there at 4, would jones give up both picks to get him? would davis drop down after his russell fiasco last year?
I know some don't want to hear it BUT that scenario is not as far-fetched as it was a month ago. I really believe if we address WR & CB in FA, we make the deal to move up for McFadden.....

I think you may be right, IF we get all the other parts in FA.

That said, even if we get the other positions filled in FA, I hope we stay put and stock up.

I fluctuate everyday on the subject. I really like McFadden BUT I also like what we can potentially do w/ two 1st rounders. I'm waiting to see who takes over for Ireland. If it's Lacewell, we're screwed no matter what we do.....

I can't see any circumstance that would allow us to draft McFadden.

Personally, I think New England should forfeit the 49ers pick instead of their late first round pick and we would be 28th or the 27th pick and the 21st pick. :)

I see that.

Explain this to me though.

Green Bay Opp. Win % = .469

Dallas Opp. Win % = .496

Indianapolis Opp. Win % = .516

How are we 28, Frisco through Indy 29, and Green Bay 30th?

I think these are in error. Unless you can show me where it has changed. Green Bay 28th, us at 29, and Frisco through Indy at 30th makes more sense to me.

Am I missing something?

You got me, I'm confused as all get up again.

Good. I hate being flabbergasted alone.

I thought I figured out the flaw in our thinking until I realized the Colts picking behind us put me back to clueless again.

If Jerry let's Lacewell take over the draft I say we get the pitchforks and storm the castle. I can't go through years like that again.

I e-mailed the Editor at GBN.

Hopefully he can answer the question for us.

I suppose the Irving city council could use eminent domain to take over the Cowboys. The city manager could also be the general manager, or the city could spin it out to the citizens of Irving and run the team like Green Bay.

The deal killer could be the cheerleaders. Does Green Bay even have cheerleaders? Oh, and Arlington would be stuck with an empty building cause Irving will keep the Cowboys in Texas Stadium.

The fact that the Cowboys have a lease erases Eminent Domain. Also, Eminent Domain only applies ot the acquisition of land. It cannot take over a business and the Cowboys are clearly a business. Irving could take the land for their own use, but nothign beyond that.

Uh no.

I'm almost positive GBN is wrong. I've heard some say that Green Bay would pick after us since we had the same record and they advanced further in the playoffs. This is not correct though. The only two teams affected by playoff performance are the Super Bowl participants. Everyone else is by win/loss record with strength of schedule as the tiebreak.

We should pick 29.
