People on this (and other boards) constantly dismiss Joe Gibbs and the 'Skins, but let's remember he has more rings than BP.

Gibbs has ONE legit ring.
2 of those rings were strike years, pal.
Have you ever seen one of these: *
Nice try, now go back to extreme scums.

I respect Gibbs for the way he lives his personal life. I just don't like the skins at all. He is just like Parcells in the fact that he is a great competitor and he hates to lose.

Did he ever shake BP's hand? Somebody did, but it didn't look like Gibbs. If he didn't, what a sore loser.

He did but I wouldn't even call it half hearted. The skins players showed more class than Gibbs did after the game. They went out of their way to shake his hand where Gibbs did his usual sore loser stomping feet and picking up his toys and going home crap.

wow I just got a chill when I said something nice about the skins players... won't do that again

Yes he sdid. It wasn't a big deal w/ a hug and kiss, but he did do it and BP seemed to be ready to exit the field as well. At least that's what it looked like to me...

Every year these two barely can look at each other when shaking...Gibbs is worse then BP in this area...

Gibbs coached a poor game tonight and it is obvious that Brunell is done...hope they keep him in there cuz it's good news for us.

Their decision not to blitz more was one of the more curious things I've seen.

Oh, and how is that big-money signing, Andre Carter, working out for Washington? Talk about a non-existent "pass rusher." Actually made Flozell look, at times, dominant.

Brandon Lloyd's giving them serious bang for the buck too, LOL...

I think the moral to this story is you do not build winners by stocking up on Niners' rejects (Lloyd, Carter, Rumph)....

no love lost with the skins, right.....I hope we wipe the field with them in D.C. too....Tied for 1st in NFC East....Let's get it all to ourselves now!

All it takes if for the Giants and Iggles to lose next week-- I GUARANTEE the Boys won't lose this coming weekend... ;)

I disagree. We were helped a lot by the absence of Portis and Springs. We played a good game, but it was not until the 99 yard drive culminating w/ the TD to Glenn that I felt the game would be won by us. People on this (and other boards) constantly dismiss Joe Gibbs and the 'Skins, but let's remember he has more rings than BP. Can you honestly say that before Roy's INT you were confident of a win. If RW doesn't take that ball it may have been a TD and put them on the path to victory. Next time we play the 'Skins, they may be at full strength, so let's just savor this victory w/o all the bragging...

You could also look at how we shot ourselves in the foot continually. THe drive where they got 3 points -- the ball was moved by stupid penalties. Kick off returned for a touchdown -- not much to say on that one. Also, how about JuJo's fumble, all the dropped passes... I know the Skins would be better with Springs and Portis, but the 'boys could've played a LOT better in their own right.

He was Wiley-esque last night. Good fun.

He seemed really at a loss for what to do. I can't believe that conservative defensive game plan they had. Can't wait to read all about it in the Washington Post tomorrow.

Washington did blitz I saw it many times. Dallas protected well. I was very very happy with their protection last night. Adams did get burnt once, but overall he looked much better. Dallas had several protection schemes last night. More than just the O-line. Great job overall.
