It could be either, but I’d probably take under. Pollard is still going to get his touches.

I think Gibbs would catch a lot of balls though.
He doesn’t sniff 1600 yards here

On which team? Here? Way under
Kamara came really close as a rookie. I think they would use Gibbs that extensively in the passing game. Especially if they dont get a TE that comes in already better than Ferguson

Pollard is going for 1300+ next season. No way Gibbs goes for 1600

That's who I'm predicting they'll pick if he's available at #26.

Fans are forgetting what happened to Gallup. He was "back" from his injury last year, but he wasn't back to his original self.
I expect Pollard to have an adjustment period this year. I don't think he's going to be the same back.

Gibbs' selection if available serves two purposes:
1. If Pollard isn't 100 percent, you insert Gibbs in the offense, and we don't miss a beat.
2. If Pollard is 100 percent, you use a rotational back system with Pollard, Gibbs and Jones and play the "grind it out but potential home-run" style of offense Mike McCarthy wants to play.

Imagine this offense with a still-recovering Pollard and Ronald Jones as the running backs and no Gibbs on the team because we passed on Gibbs.
More pressure on Dak, and we know what happens when that happens.

Gibbs just makes sense.

I’m imagining the team with Pollard and Davis competing with a mid round selection like Kendre Miller. RoJo is making basically nothing and he was signed as a backup insurance option. He might even get cut.

Davis / Miller would be an upgrade over what we got out of Zeke last year and I’m feeling great about our running game without having to blow a 1st round pick on a complimentary RB.

When we started the draft season, I looked at Gibbs as a Felix Jones luxury.

But this draft is severely deficient in truly talented playmakers, I don't really care. We need speed and he's one of the best

Gibbs is a much different player than Felix.

Gibbs is an absolute game changer, elite speed and an elite receiver.

This draft is chalk full of playmakers at the running back position. Its the opposite of what you just said.

Gibbs is an electric talent. One of the few offensive players in this draft that I think could be special. And I believe his best football is ahead of him.

Just because they played well in college, doesn't mean their game translates to the pros.

True for all backs. But regardless this draft is full of talented backs.

And thats also why you should wait till rounds 2-4. Backs have a high bust rate.

Pollard clone, not thanks.
Two different guys as well. Gibbs is way faster and hits the edge better than Pollard. Gibbs is also a much better receiver than Pollard and can be a legit 800+ yard receiver for you.

Pollard is more patient at hitting the holes and up the middle.

0% chance they draft Johnson if they get Gibbs

It would be 1a Pollard 1b Gibbs 3 Davis 4 Dowdle outside chance at 53 since he is good on special teams

Jones likely cut
