uh, since when has he done it every week? he only did it for like 3/16 games last year.

And no, I dont think other teams do this ;)

***EDIT***Gfunk, does he really do it EVERY week?

Its like the great golfer... he survey's the field of opponents.... he see's which ones complain the most and then concludes that he doesnt have to worry about them as a threat in winning anything...they have already lost...... sound familiar?

:lmao:

Its on Sunday... SkinTroll

"Tape"?? How 80s. Does the NFL even have a tape player anymore?

Mr Gibbs, why don't you just make drawings of what happened on some scroll, put it in a bottle, and then throw it in the Atlantic.

:laugh2:

Are carrier pidgeons too "new-age"?

That was a deliberate head to head contact by Taylor. Sending the tape to the NFL officials office should net Taylor a sizable fine!!!

That would make my day!

This is not uncommon in the NFL or even other sports. It's a non-story.

Well while we're on the subject did anybody see the late hit on TO on his very first catch, he was on the ground for a second or two and then the guy game him a little extra taste. We could go from there but that one for some reason was blatant, everybody was watching cause he caught the ball, I mean did anybody else see this one...

Frankly, I believe the frequency with which he does that winds up hurting the Skins... the refs are not likely to be too fond of a guy who so very publicly second-guesses them with such frequency (it's not just that he sends the league tapes, but that he makes real sure that we all KNOW he sends them the tapes)...

This sort of whining probably feeds into the endless alibi-ing we see over on Extremeskins; if the coach isn't above crying about the officiating, is it really so surprising that the fans make it their second favorite pastime??

Gibbs is embarrassing himself with this public pissin' and moanin'...

I think Gibbs does it a good deal more frequently than any other coach in the league does it... I also think he makes sure that we all KNOW he's doing it, which is the worst thing he could do...

Send the tapes, if you must, but do so QUIETLY... but I guess Gibbs doesn't mind if he pisses off the refs... of course, that's only likely to lead to resentment on the part of the zebras, and ensure that any close call goes against the Skins...

Naw, only when they LOSE...

LOL...

Come on guys ... he just wants to make the league better.

He's trying to help here, and all he gets is grief for it.

Here he is in his oversized glasses typing up another report for the league office:

:geek:

Clever, but it would have been funnier if you had found the gif of the guy typing away on the keyboard, gettin' progressively angrier, until he starts banging on the keyboard his hands fall off, then he starts banging on it with his head, until his eyeballs fall out...

I just don't understand the point. What are they going to do, agree with Gibbs and have some kind of redo over the bye? As far as I'm aware, they've only gone so far as to publically acknowledge mistakes from those Gibbs tapes, like, twice, and as far as I'm aware nothing came of it. I haven't heard about any reprimands on the refs, and as someone else mentioned it probably just results in some added ref bias against them in the long run.

Ultimately it just looks like a temper tantrum from some squeaky voiced, disrespectful, crybaby of a coach. I don't care about HOF status, it's just hard to respect that.

I agree! gibb's acts like the only bad calls made in the entire league are against his skins. I noticed in the first game and last year several bad calls that favored the skins. funny he doesn't mention those as well. Bad calls are made that effects every team. there is human error in a game moving extremely fast. It is part of the game so just get over it!

I also don't think that sending in the tapes will make a difference in the officiating. It is a redundant exercise since, IIRC, the NFL charts officiating for every game anyway and that the results determine which officiating crews are assigned to the playoffs/SB.

Can anyone review the tape or tell me if I was the only one who thought that .. during the Jamie Foxx stupid interview... when I think it was L. Betts that fumbled near the sideline.. and then there was an unsportmanlike conduct penalty...

Didn't the ball stay in bounds and get recovered by the Vikings?... it was ruled out of bounds.. but the replay seemed to show that it was a fumble and recovery.. did anyone TIvo and rewatch it?? Just curious

If I remember correctly... it DID go out of bounds before being recovered...
