I wonder if Danny boy had his new buddy Tom Cruise run the tape to the league office to set the NFL straight.

TOM CRUISE "No, you see. Here's the problem. You don't know the history of psych...err...officiating in this league. I do."

ROGER GOODELL "--we have examples where it works?"

TOM CRUISE: "Roger, Roger, Roger, you don't even-- you're glib."

Dallas should send a tape to the league as well. I just finished charting the game, and Parcells was right on the challenge flag he threw.

On this play with 5:03 left in the game:

The clock kept running after the play. That's why Parcells threw a challenge flag. The refs didn't notice the flag ran the next play anyway, then claimed the play was not reviewable and somehow took a timeout from Dallas.

This erroneously took away 30 seconds of clock and cost us a timeout. Dallas got the ball back, down 7 points, with 57 seconds left on the clock and no timeouts.

Would've been nicer to see us have 1:30 left on the clock with 1 timeout.

I was kinda confused with what happened on that play... Why did we lose a timeout? Is that a new rule? Usually if a play was not reviewable, the refs would just announce that and be on their way... Did they change the rule to take away a timeout if a coach throws the flag on a non-reviewable play?

If I remember correctly... it DID go out of bounds before being recovered...

yeah, thats the way that I saw it also. The whole ball didnt land out, but like half of it did.
