You would think that is how it would work but like I said, this has been going on for years. 2006 was supposed to be the year we had to pay the piper. The salary cap is something that very few of us truly understand IMO. While our front office has often infuriated me with some of their moves, they are apparently masters at manipulating the cap every year.

"Masters"??

Are you on drugs??

You do know that those cap "masters" have the oldest roster in the NFL right now, with 25 players on that roster who will be 30 or older on opening day 2008, don't you?? And that they are currently projected to be 20 million over the cap for 08??

Yeah, I know, they have moves they can make to make this cap situation a bit more manageable, but that involves pushing still more money off into the future...

Meanwhile, what have those cap "masters" WON with their unorthodox approach to cap management?? Seems to me that all your finagling hasn't even gotten you to an NFC Championship game...

Some "masters"...

Guys-

All this speculation is fun but the reality is the next head coach is likely going to be Gregg Williams. For better or worse :)

Snyder could always make a trade with San Diego for their offensive genius head coach!!! :lmao2:

"UMCP" ?

No, it is either "The University of Maryland" or simply "Maryland", hell UM is more acceptable.

That almost like saying "UNCCH". No, it's "UNC".

Either way let this thing go. It's speculation and none of us know right now.

Anytime a big move happens within our division, it's more than deserving of being in the Fan Zone. Gibbs resignation is big news. At some point, it will get moved. In the meantime, it is a discussion-worthy thread. So just continue to ignore it...

Anything that happens in our division is Cowboys news. You can also say anything that happens to a team we play against in the upcoming year is Cowboys news. If it affects us, it's Cowboys news.

If you want to gripe about something, gripe there aren't enough Cowboys Cheerleader links!!! What? Did someone say there weren't enough Cheerleader links?? Ok, I'll second that!!

And it is obvious that if you are hanging out with people who are running home at every chance that you aren't with the "happening" crowd.

Let's see. Option 1: Mommy and daddy
Option 2: Drink, get high, and maybe get some lovin' all weekend

If your friends are choosing Option 1 then I have to say, THEY AREN'T YOUR FRIENDS. A real friend does not allow you to take Option 1 over and over. You are in college! Act like it.

Yet, your the one saying that students need to study 45 hours based upon 15 credits....

I'm done with college... and none of that changes the fact that weekends are dead on campus... It is rather ironic you haven't even mentioned your college town? I'm pretty sure UMPC OUT-DWARFS your respective school in every respect, including partying and academics.

The point is, drinking getting high, and getting loving happens all the time during the week. Frat parties happen all the time during the week. People party outside the campus on the weekends, and often times hit the city... People go home on the weekends regularly...

And how does Al Saunders react to that??

Don't tell me Jason Campbell's gonna have to learn another system, LOL...

Apparently, Saunders, Bugel, and most of the assistants want to stay. Which is why I am leaning towards keeping Williams. I'd like to see what Saunders can do with free reign. Take the cuffs off Campbell lets see what he can do!

Say what you want about Buges -- he deserves a lot of credit this year. I mean he turned Jason Fabini into a serviceable back-up at guard! Who else could have done that?! (Well, the Seattle game not included -- I don't think he effectively blocked ANYONE in that game!)

I am disheartened Gibbs retired -- but after seeing what the Cowboys did post-Parcells -- maybe it's a good thing. I do fear the player personnel process though. The Skins have only drafted well under Gibbs.

But as the Zen Master says, "we'll see"
