I'm not a Dak fanboy. I am against paying Dak. I'm one of the people Dak fanboys call an idiot. But Dallas wins this game with Dak. Dak is 10 times better than the QB we started today.
 
I knew this thread was coming.

He played competitively against a superior team today.

Our fans who hate Dak's great play but love a guy who comes in and has a passer rating of 72 and a turnover for every TD tells you all you need to know about how stupid our fanbase is.

You'd really think a bunch of Texas people would be more football-literate. But you've got dum-dums right now in the year 2020 looking at a guy who posts a passer rating of 72 and they say, "Yeah, this'll get it done in the modern NFL."

Anyway. Glad our draft pick position didn't get worse. Wish our fans weren't such trash, but oh well.

He was fine.. Gave him a little protection and he got a similar result to Dak..

Getting a rookie on a cheap deal is the way forward.. Look how many stud QBs there are in the league right now on rookie deals. Go get one. It’s easier than ever to find quality QBs.

This. The OP is ridiculous and I’m not sure if the right move is to dump dak or not, but given the recent success rate of rookie qbs you have to have the conversation if you’ve got a top 2 pick. It’s a huge advantage.

He was fine? Fine for what exactly? He was so good you have zero interest in rolling w him moving forward after this year..so yeah, he wasnt fine

Hey you have to give that kid props... he did face a lot of heat coming after him form the Steelers D.
He definitely doesn't look like someone that should have been standing around bagging groceries.
