Lets play this out:
That's a steal, we'd be paying 150 points for 11m of value and that's before considering we'd benefit hugely from his leadership, and Superbowl experience. If we could restructure his contract on a 3-year deal we'd be a really good position. Pick 15 keeps us in a range to take maybe the 3rd best defender in the draft and if we also add Gilmore that's two big additions to the defense with still a 2nd, and 2 x 3rd that have a reasonable chance to contribute.
- The difference between pick 10 and pick 15 is 250 points (equivalent of pick 68)
- Gilmore if he walked after the season would net about pick 100 (100 points)
- Gilmore is on 7m a season and is probably worth 18m if healthy
They would probably just call the Giants or Philly knowing full well we would pass on the QB anyway.
Gilmore is hurt and looking for a huge payday, hard pass. The reason why the team doesn't use fa is to lock good talent at a cheap cost.Saw a rumor where the Pats were floating Stephon Gilmore as bait to get into the top ten. Woodja take 15 and Gilmore and take the best remaining defensive player such as JOK or Barmore to name a couple? That would really elevate the defense, for sure

Think he has a partially torn quad. He is looking for his last contract. Major pass for me and definitely them as they want to control a corner at a much cheaper rate.He is hurt?
I was beginning to warm to the idea but I didn't know that part.
I'm not sure about looking for a big payday. He already got that.
I look at draft capital as being the same as cap dollars.Think he has a partially torn quad. He is looking for his last contract. Major pass for me and definitely them as they want to control a corner at a much cheaper rate.
If the Patriots move up, I want 46 and more.I look at draft capital as being the same as cap dollars.
Pick 10 isn't cheap.
Pass for Dallas but if the Patriots pay the quarterbacks tax of a 2022 first round pick, I could see Carolina doing it.Saw a rumor where the Pats were floating Stephon Gilmore as bait to get into the top ten. Well, sure...but I doubt they are offering that.If the Patriots move up, I want 46 and more.
No you won't, because they would never in a million years offer that.No
Gilmore is 31 and on the downside and wants money
I’ll take their 15 and rd 2 pick this year and 2 next year
Never gonna happen. If the Patriots move up, I want 46 and more.

They we aren't trading away for a lesser player.Never gonna happen.
Who knows, there is an outside chance our corners are off the board, doubt it, but there is a slim chance. Slater is my preferred choice, but warming up to one of the corners.Well, sure...but I doubt they are offering that.
Question there is would someone trade pick 46 for Gilmore.
I can't see it, so looking at it from that angle, I suppose it's not great value.
I liked it because I'm not wild about corner at 10.
I'm still wanting to get out of there and hoping things set up that way.Who knows, there is an outside chance our corners are off the board, doubt it, but there is a slim chance. Slater is my preferred choice, but warming up to one of the corners.
I think the opposite this year, about 12-15 1st rd players then a huge drop off. Grab one.I'm still wanting to get out of there and hoping things set up that way.
I'd normally be against dealing down in a draft I consider weak overall, but the matches at 10 just aren't convenient.
I want to go down from 10, but up from 44 and 75.
Too many guys 20-50 that can help. I want four.
