Ginn and Stanton, 1 & 2?

If Dallas picks up a QB I would hope it would be no sooner than the 3rd rd.

Totally agree on that. I think we are set at that position for a long time at the starter level, and Johnson for 2 years. I hope to not start a Romo long term starter discussion. Just saying.

I like Ginn and Stanton. I believe Dallas should draft a qb every year. Romo isn't proven and has potential to be injury prone. Johnson is a one year relief statue.

Hasselbeck, Young, Schaub, etc......... have been traded for high picks after developing if Romo is the long term answer. Stanton with some good coaching has tools. Ginn at best would be a third WR but puts some juice in the ST right away and learns enough to take over when Owens and Glenn leave.

I have no problem with Dallas drafting a QB just not with the 2nd draft pick. As for Romo potential to be injury prone? I don't understand that comment, there is nothing there to make such a claim

Man, I hope your wrong, but if he has a star on his helmet on SATURDAY I will be pulling for him. Just a question......Would you be looking at Ginn the same way if he went to Purdue?

As I said to Rack...A great player is a great player no matter who he plays for.

He could have when to Michigan [ thank God he didn't :D ] and I would still feel the same way.

I'm not a homer who thinks every player coming out of Ohio St is the best.

There are many people on this board who think Ginn is great and want the Cowboys to pick him and they're not all Buckeye fans...But they recognize a great talent when they see it.

Don't worry though, I doubt very seriously if he's even there at 22.

But Jerry could always trade up for that WOW player.:D

I like stanton; I know he was/is inconsitent at times, but look at the team and coach (John L. Smith is an idiot IMO) he had around him... how many michigan state lineman do you even see in the NFL, let alone on the rosters? He was a man on the run in college, it is hard to get a rhythm with your wideouts if your running around trying to escape pressure instead of finding the open man. He will develop into a good west-coast passer like Jeff Garcia me thinks.

I think Stanton will be a good QB in this league after a few years, but I sure as hell dont want jerrah to pick him at 55. He is not worth that much, more like 4th/3rd at best

Okay Yogi Cuda, since you have access to my mind then maybe you have access to Jerry's? Who is he going to pick?

I think a doctor beat me to having access to your mind..at least the front of it anyway.

I don't care what anyone says about you dog, I like you. You amuse me. :laugh1: Of course you amused me back during the Quincy wars over at the DMN board....

Let's both hope that if Dallas does draft Ginn, that he continues his development as a WR and helps them this year in the slot and on special teams.

Sorry, but you're in denial.

Yeah I'm the only one that wants Ginn on this board.
