LOL, I wasn't trying to disprove anything. I was just saying I was glad Wolf didnt follow that same philosophy.

I guess I can't tell if someone's being a smart-arse or is just being honest anymore:(

no thanks, i can think of alot of other WR who might be worth a #1 pick, but Ginn doesnt come close to making the list.

Ginn, Jr. just does not strike me as a BP kind of player. If he wants to trade him, would you give up one of 1st rounders for him? I don't see anyone w/ Ginn's speed in this draft. I'd trade our 1st for him straight up. Thoughts?

I wouldn't give up our two drafts picks in any trade for any veteran or draft pick.

Ginn doesn't strike me as a Dallas player for all that.

It simply isn't economically feasible to trade a player after his rookie season when they're a first round pick, especially a top 10 pick. It would accelerate around 10-12 million onto the cap IIRC.

Thank you.

Despite what some may believe, the league doesn't waive salary cap rules just because Bill Parcells is involved.

I'd rather draft a guy like Desean Jackson from Cal, he's a more polished WR and just as dynamic return specialist.

You are kidding right?

You would trade a first rounder for that bust?

WOW:(

I just don't get how you assume he isn't a Parcells type of player, or that Parcells will have that type of impact on the teams roster.

I think it's funny how "he hasn't impressed you," and "I didnt thnk he should have gone first round anyway." You guys know a lot less than the scouts that drafted him. He hasn't impressed you? He's a rookie with Cleo Lemon at QB. How impressive can you get?

I scouted Ginn from my living room and wasn't impressed either.

1. You cannot judge any WR or TE by his performance this year in Miami with no QB on board.

2. If we got Ginn for our #31 or #32 pick, sure I'd make the deal unless someone incredible were still on the board, but BP loves his special teams guys and won't trade Ginn till he finds out if he can coach him up.

3. I don't see Ginn as a #1 or as a possession receiver, but with his quicks, I'd sure love to see him lining up as the #3 receiver like Welker in NE. Nowadays your #3 receiver, especially if he's one of the true impact guys, is well worth a #1. Do you think NE would give up Welker for the #31 or #32 pick? I don't.

But it won't happen...Parcells doesn't usually trade away guys without working with them first...remember, he got to the playoffs with Campo's guys in his first year here...Hambrick was our RB

What do you think Parcells is there for, to redsign the breakfast and lunch menu?

I just think that giving up our own 1st rounder (30th or 31st overall) for Ginn would be a good deal. I don't see any other WRs coming out that I like better than Ginn at this spot. I don't see him as a #1 WR, but I think he'd compliment T.O. as a #2 or 3. I'd love to see JG utilize him in creative ways that Miami just cannot do because of their utter lack of talent. The 'Fins taking him w/ the 9th overall was dumb BUT if he was available to us at #22 in last year's draft, I bet JJ would have had a hard time passing him up. I think it's waaay to early to call him a bust already especially w/ Miami's poor QB play.....I stand by my original statement, I would trade our own 1st rounder (hopefully 31st overall) for Ginn, Jr. if the deal came up......

And no, no crack or meth, just Nyquil w/ Grey Goose & Seven..... :)

My thoughts exactly! Even Jerry Rice himself would have had a terrible season w/ that Miami team.....
