Give Carpenter a little credit today

Do i really have to tell you it was a joke?

I wasn't referring to you. I knew it was a joke. I'm sure someone later will think that.

we can only hope he gets traded in the offseason.

Isn't this his last year? Nobody isn't trading for him either. I don't think we could even get a 6th rounder from Parcells.

Bobby Carpenter is eligible for free agency in 2011.

I tried to make it as clear as possible and had to add that disclaimer. But, I'm sure someone will read it that way:rolleyes:

Dude, he helped you out with the smileys and still couldn't connect to your sarcasm detector

As for Bobby, to me his most impressive play was on Newman's forced fumble because he latched on to the lineman physically instead of being a Wuss like he usually is in the run game.

BALLIN!!!!!!!!!

:lmao:

The only props I will give is to the DC for whatever reason the LBs are running into less people when they blitz then they did 3 games ago. Now it could be the talent the team is playing against but there has been a precipitous drop off of blitzing into a wall of defenders. Also is there any chance we can get the seahawks on the schedule 8 times so we can justify the money we are playing K. Hamlin.

ANYONE could have made that sack. carpenter just happened to be the guy there. he is still horrible.

Nah. I'm not a big fan of Carp, but you've got to disguise what you're doing then time it perfectly. Doesn't make him a good player, but that was an excellent play. Watch our blitzes under Zimmer. I would've died to see something like that when he was the DC.

He'll forever be Barbie to me but I'll give him credit for showing up today. As long as there is no resistance, Barbie is an all-star caliber athlete.

He's like a sprinter suddenly forced to run hurdles, "What are all these obstacles doing in my way, won't they just slow me down?"

No one was more surprised than Barbie, dude acted like he made a play to win the Super Bowl.

Barbie registered a sack today...My thought is that even a blind hog finds an acorn every once in awhile.

C'mon Hats Off For Carp...keep On Doing What You Are Doing Carp!!!last Week He Shutout Gonzalez...this Week Plays Good Football And Timed The Sack Just Right

Give Carp some credit guys, he's trying this year. More than JaMarcus Russell at least.

You really have to be a tight *** to not even acknowledge that was an excellent play by Carp, regardless of his play as a whole since he was drafted.

It was shockingly awesome. Good for him.

I refuse to give props to a guy that has had 1 or 2 "good" games in his career. Just because he sucked alot less than he usually does in one game, doesn't mean he is not a bust.

:hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

Perhaps he'll play well enough to net us a 7th rounder in return from some gullible front office.
