Give Eli Manning Some Credit

He looks very good. Anyone noticed his mechanics? He actually stepped up into the pockets this time. Something he won't do last year. Now if he could only remove that dumb look from his face.

Dude look much improved. Maybe it's been bad Tiki karma, but he looked much more confident, poised, and most importantly accurate. Sure, our pass defense played poorly, but he was on target all night long. He was finding receivers and hitting tight holes. Let's hope this isn't the real Eli or we're in trouble for years to come, regardless of what we do with our pass defense.

True.

eli looked very good tonight..

his strength is the long ball but tonight he was making all the intermediate throws..

he didnt get flustered under pressure, the fwe times he was pressured.

but he was not pressured nearly enough

Eli did look good. Yet he usually starts the season well. He seems to get worse as the season advances.

It couldn't have been his mechanics. I mean, guys were wide open. Our defense sucked so bad that Jared Lorenzen lit us up.

Oh, wait, he didn't.

The pass defense must have suddenly got much better with Lorenzen in the game.

Yeah.

All three plays.

Seriously....weak.

Yeah, we couldn't hold Manning to a 3 and out to save our lives and suddenly it's easy as pie with Lorenzen in.

It was only 3 plays because he couldn't move the ball.

He looked sharp.

Eli did look very good tonight. I was afraid that this would happen when Palmer became the QB coach. The good thing is that Gilbride is now the OC and of course he sucks at that job...or at least he has at every place he has held it.

I'm a Commander fan and I thought he look good tonight. Your secondary still has problems but some of the throw that Eli made were on target. He fitted them into a spot where only the WR could of made a play on them.

Manning had all day and played catch with Burress. Manning under pressure will look just like he always does.

Good point about Palmer. Forgot about him being there. He's always been very good at taking a somewhat shaky QB and sharpen him up.

Do you try and base all your arguments on such a small sample of supporting evidence?

Manning made the right throws tonight. Let's not pretend we made it hard on him.

No, my argument wasn't based on that. It was just further evidence.

Eli was definately sharp. Even when we got pressure in his face he was slinging the ball outta there like his brother. The guy might just be a pain in our *** for years. As will Romo for the rest of the division. ;)

Of what? That if the other team brings in an offensive linemen at QB, we can stop him? Or that Eli Manning is somewhere between Jared Lorenzen and his brother?

Hooray. :eek::
