Unfortunately, many Dallas fans live in a vaccuum. Eli couldn't possibly have been good tonight. Dallas must completely suck.

Look, the defense didn't play that well. But Eli was very good tonight.

Of what? That if the other team brings in an offensive linemen at QB, we can stop him? Or that Eli Manning is somewhere between Jared Lorenzen and his brother?

Hooray. :eek::
It was evidence that it wasn't just the defense sucking that made Eli look good. Thought that was pretty obvious. Obviously Lorenzen sucks, but if the defense was that bad, he could have at least moved the ball for a single first down. It takes a good QB to sit back and read the defense, find an open receiver, and then make an accurate pass through and over defenders. To do it 28 times is ever more impressive.

Yes, it's unfortunate.

Some people don't remember what Mike Vick and Jon Kitna did to this defense last year.

Eli played well. There's no denying it. But it wasn't hard. It wasn't amazing. It wasn't anything different than Mike Vick and Jon Kitna were capable of against these players.

Eli played an outstanding game, and I hate the guy. He made the passes that could be made all game long. We played atrocious Defense don't get me wrong, but noone gives Peyton a hard time when he shreds bad defenses (ie KC Chiefs '05) to bits.

I think we can improve, but we have to give Eli his due for hurting us repeatedly both with big play throws that were on the money and hitting spots when he needed to also.

That said, we won and Romo was even better than Eli.

Do you try and base all your arguments on such a small sample of supporting evidence?

Manning made the right throws tonight. Let's not pretend we made it hard on him.
If Manning keeps this up it will be a great year for him and the Giants. He played good tonight. Good enough to win. His defense didn't help him out enough. ;)

And if we keep this up?

Long way to go for that.

I'd have liked to see tonight's game with a healthy Terry Glenn. I will admit that.

Dude look much improved. Maybe it's been bad Tiki karma, but he looked much more confident, poised, and most importantly accurate. Sure, our pass defense played poorly, but he was on target all night long. He was finding receivers and hitting tight holes. Let's hope this isn't the real Eli or we're in trouble for years to come, regardless of what we do with our pass defense.

It seems Eli always plays well against us for some reason.

I'll be impressed if he plays like this consistently against teams that aren't the Cowboys.

Yeah what is up with that? Plax does well too... I hate that they keep on burning us in the beginning of the game on the deep ball. Its gotta stop
