maybe zeke will establish himself as the best back in the league and get some perspective.
What perspective does he have to get? Why does his sensibilities have to be yours? He acts like he is in his twenties. Oh yeah, he is in his twenties. I wouldn't do it, but I am 36. It's like complaining because a teenager uses emojis. Yeah it would seem weird if someone in their 30s did.

Do you have to get a permit or licence to be judgmental and, overall, just plain prissy?
Just wondering, Calvinist Yank.
Heh.
Some would say that overdoing schtick and becoming a character before posting on a message board is immature and lacks perspective as well as poor upbringing. No one should judge you for it though and apply their sensibilities to you.

As a Buckeyes/Cowboys fan, no one loves them some Zeke more than I do. However, in Columbus, Elliott had an irritating habit of giving the "feed me" spooning motion every other time he carried the ball. Never mind that he got "fed" enough to finish second all-time in rushing yards in Buckeyes history in less than 3 seasons. Urban Meyer ignored it, as he tends to do with his star players. Now, Elliott has taken his show to Dallas. Zeke, this is professional football, & you're a rookie. It is not your place to demand touches from the coaching staff. It is your place to take the carries they call for you, make the most of them, & shut up. So, please stop showing up your coaches & fellow RBs with your antics. You've carried the ball 94 times so far this season, more than any other back in the NFL--great backs who have earned their way in this league. Your backup ran for the second most yards in the NFL the four seasons leading up to this one. Show him & your coaches some respect & stop insisting you get every freaking carry on every play.

A lot o' people don't realize what's really going on. They view life as a bunch o' unconnected incidents 'n things. They don't realize that there's this, like, lattice o' coincidence that lays on top o' everything. Give you an example; show you what I mean: suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

But, lad, the alternative is a life of mundane desperation as you well know it. For you to add your judgemental perspective is not only Calvinist and proof of a strict and constrained life but a penchant for front-pew asides to make yourself more than you are. I am afraid you show your small and constricted world. How sad.
My hopes for your continued improvement. I am pulling for you, old fellow.

The funny thing is, you proved my point with your response. You don't want to be judged for your silliness, yet you judge Zeke.

How do I judge Zeke? I forget.
But methinks you confuse opinion with judgment.
Please do not judge me based on your small and rather simpleton views of what is opinion (an assessment) as opposed to high-minded and restrictionist views (you). Btw: your life called and it wants you back, heh.
Still pulling for you, old fellow.

The perspective that there is no reason to celebrate a first down like that. If youre any good, over youre doing that half a dozen times a game. Youre celebrating doing the your base job responsibility. Im hoping he starts to act like hes been there when hes been there a lot.

What's the sign for fumbling? Think his father moved to Columbus for a good reason? He's a big kid and not as mature as his 21 years. Hopefully, he'll grow up and understand it's not about him. His comments about the coaching after a loss at OSU spoke volumes about where this child's head is with regards to how the "star" fits on the team. And he couldn't be in a worse place for that "star" to go to his head.

Just another example of the ultimate team sport moving away from that with all of the "look at me" gestures on the field. It will only get worse. They celebrate every little thing they do and it's not with their team, they're playing to the camera.

I always assumed that he hadn't eaten breakfast and was just reminding the coaches that he wants food after the game. ??
