I have been a total goof on the first 3 weeks. For the first time I am going to put who I think the best 5 teams and worst 5 teams really are.

Many will not agree with my lists. That is fine. I think some teams look good and aren't that good. I think some teams look bad and aren't that bad.

1. Packers. You have to go after Rodgers hard.

2. Patriots. Efficient without being careless.

3. Colts. A 59 yard FG is a fluke. They are tough.

4. Cowboys. Yes, I am serious. They can't shoot themselves in the foot though.

5. Saints. They are winning ugly. That won't last, they will dominate soon.

28. Lions. They could be 2-2 but they find ways to lose.

29. Cardinals. How they have 2 wins is a mystery. They suck.

30. Panthers. Now they've lost Steve Smith possibly? Awful.

31. 49ers. It shocks me to say this. I thought they had a great chance this year, but they suck.

32. Bills. Gag a maggot on a gut wagon.

I agree with the list. I might put the Falcons in there. Yes they have been lucky but you make your own luck, too. The Saints look less lively this year. The Bears are too inconsistent. I'm not that impressed.

I almost put the Falcons in there.

1. Packers
2. Colts
3. Pats
4. Saints
5. Falcons

28. Lions
29. Panthers
30. Cardinals
31. 49ers
32. Bills

Can't take any top 5 list seriously that doesn't include the Steelers.

I don't think they will stay hot.

They beat the Falcons with a backup QB, and barely lost to the Ravens with their 4th QB. I don't think hot has a lot to do with it. They're just a good team.

I know what they did.

My 5's:

Top: NOLA, Pats, Texans, GB, Steelers (honorable mentions: colts, ravens, falcons)

Bottom: Oakland, Browns, Buffalo, Panthers, Lions.

They have a great defense. They lost to the Ravens because they couldn't pull out miracle turnovers like they did in previous games, and were not able to capitalize on their much fewer turnovers against another stout defense. They had to beat the Falcons in OT. I think good teams will have a decent game plan for their defense, and if they can minimize the Steeler's D's turnovers, it's game over. Even with Raper back, their O isn't very good at all.

A good example is to look at the Bears vs. Giants game. I think the Bears and Steelers are pretty similar (Bears slightly better O, Steelers slightly better D), and both lost against a team that minimized their mistakes on O.

I don't take any list seriously that has the Pack 1. :laugh2:

Ravens, Jets, Steelers, Patriots, and Saints in that order right now. Packers, Falcons, Colts, and Texans would be up next.

I'm a big cowboys homer but i just can't put them up there until i see them vs the Titans.

Also for bottom feeders, Buffalo, Arizona, Detroit, Oakland, and Cleveland.

And that makes your list even more ridiculous, if possible.
I really don't care about your opinion. Never have to be truthful. So whine all you want about my list. It is what it is.

its so hard to dispute anyones top 5 because honestly, none of these teams look good

my list:

1. Stealers
2. Jets
3. Packers
4. Ravens

this but switch 1 and 2 and an Honorable mention to the only undefeated team left

Close.

1. Jets (they now have an offense to match the defense)
2. Steelers (damn they could be on their way to another Super Bowl)
3. Packers (explosive)
4. Texans (what a great running game they have)
5. Saints (they know what it takes)

*I can’t put a 1-2 team into the top 5 five. I am homer and all, but i need more evidence they can commit to playing at a high level this season.
