It’s no secret in no big fan of Dak, but I will admit that yesterday he played a great game, and I think it’s one of his best. Not stat wise, but in delivering when it mattered. His touch seemed better ever, and I liked him looking off his receivers and confusing the secondary. That’s the guy I want to see play.

Good to see the team elevated going into a home advantage scenario. Now he needs to keep that momentum going because that’s where he’s fallen short in the past.

Spotlight is on, let’s see what he does post season.

I think a lot of Cowboys fans underrate Dak. And I understand why. But he had a really good year this year. He kept the bad games to a minimum and did some really good things. His 36 to 9 TD to INT ratio is phenomenal. And let's face it, his offensive line has not been that great this year.

But at the same time, I am not going to let that drubbing of the Commanders cloud my judgement. The Commanders were playing some scrubs on defense, and they are a terrible team, on both sides of the ball. The Cowboys made mistakes yesterday that against good teams would have hurt them badly. It's great they did not repeat what they did last year, but I think the defense needs to be better against the teams they will be facing in the playoffs.

What we've seen from Dak, we've essentially seen from him many times before. Washington is garbage.

It starts in two weeks. After the bye week slaughter of the Packers, he gets another shot at Detroit and San Fran.

Those are the games that will define him still.

The only thing yesterdays game did was get Dallas some practice and give the kicker a blemish and a yip on the XP. Dallas has never had a table set like this for them. If they don't eat this year, it may never happen. Career defining moments(again) upcoming for the Billion Dollar man. Who shows up? Dakyl or Dyde?

So will you be rooting for him to succeed or to fail?

I think that you are a little off in your predictions. Rams could beat Lions and 49ers.

This has been a big season for Dak, who has taken ownership of this offense. No more bus drive. Dak has produced at a very high level and has done so without a running game. No doubt it takes a team to win but this offense has relied on Dak more than ever before

It might happen this year and next year.

Chances are the Cowboys beat the Lions then lose to the 49ers. It will be hailed as progress and a great success, extensions all round. When the reality would be the Cowboys will have failed for the third successive season with a Superbowl calibre roster.

He promised he wouldn’t have 10 picks this year. He did it. The int yesterday was not his fault..

Dak didn't look good in the second and third quarters against Detroit, and he should have been sacked on the long TD of the guy didn't whiff for some weird reason.

That will be a battle. The Lions aren't intimidated at all to come here again.

I'd bet against your scenario happening.

The Lions will have a difficult time with the Rams.

I have been harsh with Dak at times. My main complaints was he is very inconsistent in his fundementals (foot work mainly) and he cradles under pressure - I mean mental pressure, the bigger the game, the worse he has played. So far this year, he has been great with his footwork, way more consistent which has led to a lot better passes, especially with moving targets. We will see if he can get over the mental block that is the 49ers for him. If we get the Dak we have got for the majority of this year, we will be fine.

Again, he's fine this before.

He looked horrible against San Fran and Buffalo and very average against Miami and Detroit. Those are the only teams we played that have a chance in the postseason.
