they love draft picks. they won't get rid of 2 of them in the same year. not to mention they just gave up 2 2009 picks and 1 2010 pick for Peters.

He is a very good player, he has motivation issues though from what I have read.

I remember bill belichick was asked about kerry rhodes, peters and whitner one time and He said something to the effect that they were not good enough to start on his teams...not sure why he said that or what he is implying.

side note. Didnt buffalo bill go to north america because the qb doesnt get sacked much? Oops.

oh one more thing, this must hurt their chances of getting boldin.

and this too, if they got a franchise left tackle for less than we got roy williams I am going to be mad.

That pretty much killed their shot at Boldin because I doubt they are giving up the other first rounder.

And Peters was a one year wonder. He would have to do more than that to show me he was worth a first round pick. Ware is going to abuse him.

The Bills are a franchise that is all over the map right now. They sign T.O., there Safeties are getting arrested, their RB just got suspended and now they trade away their best Left Tackle.

T.O. is going to be moaning and groaning by Week 5.

YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! This is awsome news! Peters is so overrated and going to want to be paid the highest LT in the NFL(he said that) and this takes them out for getting Boldin for sure! No way they spend both first rounders on two veterans.

Ware has torn apart Peters before! yes!!

Peters is so good that he once held DeMarcus Ware to 1.5 sacks in a game.
Haha dang, beat me to it. I was gonna say that they gave up a first rounder...but will still need to double DeMarcus. I'd rather them do that than draft a skill position player.

Depends on if this guy stays motivated. BUT I do think this pretty much ends any chance of them going after Bolden. WHich is good.

I don't know why it would prevent them from acquiring Bolden. They still have a # 1 pick left. When they got up this morning they had 12 picks. They use one of their first and a second day pck and a late pick in 2010. They still have ten picks and they still have a # 1 and # 2 and a boatload of picks left. I am assuming their # 2 was not involved since the news states the second pick is a second day pick.

If they do trade for Bolden then they have to become the odds on favorite to win the division.

This is the Eagles we are talking about and they are not spending two first rounders on veterans..PLUS they are going to pay 85+ mil between the two of them?

Does that sound like the Eagles?

Updating a previous report, Sal Paolantonio and Tim Graham, of ESPN.com, report the Buffalo Bills have traded OT Jason Peters to the Philadelphia Eagles for the No. 28 overall pick and a fourth-round draft choice in the 2009 NFL Draft, according to sources. The Bills will also receive an undisclosed 2010 Draft choice.

I wouldn't place any bets but I'd say they might consider trading for him anyway. I thought McNabb had a good year and expect the same from him again. If they think they are a SB team then I would make a run at Bolden. Sooner than later McNabb is going to get too old to do what he does. When he can't scramble his days are up. I'd give a one plus in a heartbeat. I don't know what their other needs are so I have no real idea if they would give up enough picks for him.

If they trade a first and a third for Boldin..they will have ZERO picks in the first 4 rounds..can you see them doing that? If Mcnabb or Boldin gets injured which history will tell that they will..they are screwed!

I've never even heard of the guy.

He is a good player and will be surrounded by more good players in philly.

The one hangup I would have is that there are really no pass rushers in the afc east outside of joey porter last year.

Now he is going to have to deal with playing against better defenses in 6 divsional games.

I'd guess Bolden would cost around a 1st and a 3rd and maybe another lower round draft pick. They have already traded away the other 1st and a 4th rounder this year.

But then to extend Bolden's contract, we're talking some serious bucks.

They would still have a 2nd rounder, I think.

I swear the Eagles Front Office just loves giving us the silent treatment when it comes to a #1 WR.

Keep it up, keep it up. They won't be laughing when we burn down the practice facility.

So what do you think, do they draft a WR or do they try to get a vet?

Eagles FO said they are happy with the WR's they have now.

I'm hoping they go for a vet. Mcnabb isn't going to be here forever and a vet would step in and help right away.
