Glenn Bledsoe 96 vs 05

Exactly - Price is smiling cuz his role was explained to him. And I can't believe that was to sit all season and he's smiling and having fun on sidelines. He at some point is going to have a role here.

I don't think there's any secret plan with Price.

I think Jerry and Parcells looked at the situation ... Glenn has had trouble staying healthy and the team missed him very much last year when he went down, there's not much proven depth, and Morgan obviously wasn't the answer.

Add to that, Jerry had the cap space and Bledsoe gave Parcells a good report on him and voila.

If Glenn or Keyshawn get hurt, then Price becomes very valuable.

If they don't get hurt, no big loss ... just some of Jerry's money.

that also makes sense, so I deduce that I have no idea what's going to happen with Price lol

Dale - you are lucky enough to be on the field and at the games. I too was luck enough to sit at 15 yard line 15 rows up and watch Glenn a lot 96-00.

What is AMAZING about him is his seperation. He flat out is man up almost uncoverable. That was apparant fast and teams started doubling him and taking him out of game some. No sense messing with him....

Now with JJ, Witten its almost like teams have overlooked him and he's man on man and eating up corners. Pick your poison! Roll safety over him you have Witten and JJ now jamming it down your throat!

Chess match - we have the pieces now.....
It will be a beautiful thing if it keeps developing this, especially if, as you mentioned, teams lay off JJ and he makes them pay for it. As for Witten, him catching 50 clutch passes is a more positive sign than him hauling in 80+ like last year (not taking anything away from his amazing season last year.)

The irony about all this is I briefly chatted with Drew's dad during training camp, and he predicted all of this. I know, I know...he's his dad. What was he going to say? But the things he said were spot on, and from my past encounters with him, he's a pretty straight forward kind of guy.

He kept saying that Terry Glenn is one of the most underrated players in the league, that people simply do not understand what kind of talent he is.

Not to reveal too much of what was said, but he said this would be Drew's best season considering all that was in place around him. He definitely knew what he was talking about.

Gave me chills at the time just thinking about the possibilities. Still does.
Post of the day. If you can, please share more.

The only thing I was right about on Bledsoe was he had a tremendous rocket rocket for a arm and was deadly accurate medium to long range.

But I thought he was a statue and had no feel for pressure or the pocket breaking down. I read some real wrong stuff on that one and I was sure wrong about that part period.

Where this he has no feel for pressure came from I have no idea. I have seen 4 of the Cowboys 5 games and he clearly feels the pressure there is no question there. And he moves around in the pocket and outside the pocket very good.

No one doubted Bledsoe until like 2 years ago. Remember 4 years ago he was worth a 1st round pick. Buffalo has a pourous offensive line. You don't get sacked that often just because you hold onto the ball. And once you start getting hit, youre gonna not make the smart reads anymore, and youre gonna rush and force the ball. Its that simple.

i think a lot of the reason Warner's reputation took such a hit is once he started getting hit he got tunnel vision. Bledsoe has been sacked a LOT, and he has the courage to stand in there and deliver the ball. once our coaches develop plays where he can mix in the short dumpoffs with the shots downfield, and give him reasonable time to find the open receiver... well, we've just seen the results. no doubt at all a top 10 QB, and even on a bad day he's veteran enough to limit the mistakes and give his team a chance to win...
best FA signing this past offseason? Bledsoe by a mile...

Before the season started, I definitely had my doubts about Bledsoe, but he's playing some very good ball and has my confidence now. Best signing of the offseason, bar-none.

Interestingly enough, all the victories this season came when Bledsoe completed at least 60% of his passes. Hope that trend continues this Sunday.
