That's one part. But it sounds like he's upset about the differences in pay if he blows out the right knee vs the surgically repaired left knee. Right knee = full pay. Left knee = 1/3 pay.

There's a middle ground somewhere in there, just no idea what it should be.

A testical?

I really can't believe people feel Terry stole money last year, because he was injured. He and the team signed a contract and both sides had to honor it. He may have only played "4 plays" or whatever, but he also had two surgeries, rehab and I bet a lot of pain and suffering to go along with that. He even opted for the medically more risky surgical option so he could try to play again and help the team. Have any of you guys ever been on workers' comp? Were you stealing money while you were collecting it? :(

Jerry is being cheap and not only that his behavior with the #2 WR position this offseason has been bizarre to say the least. He talked up Glenn like he was the second coming of Jerry Rice and the answer to our #2 receiver dilenma. Then he winks at the camera on drat day when discussing the possibility of trading for Roy Williams, Boldin or CJ and then he trys to low ball Glenn even though there has been no hint of trade in the works since draft day confused:

To a degree you are right. But Jerry was led to believe that his knee would heal in time for a portion of the regular season. Whether this was a direct assurance from TG or the training staff I don't know. Personally I think he took the money under false pretenses because if he told the training staff I don't think I will be able to make it back at all this year he would have been released before the season started. Now thing I am concerned with is last year it was reported this knee is pretty much bone on bone which tells me it will be tempermental at best and we will see TG sitting games and series out. Is TG at 75% better than any young receiver we have on the roster now at 100%. I say let him go he wasted a roster spot last year to the detriment of a developing player why do it again?

Glenn needs to remember the Cowboys won 13 games without him. He doesn't really have a leg to stand on. :laugh2:

They picked Glenn of the scrape pile 5 years ago and have paid him well every year since.

in 2004 he only played 6 games ..... he was still paid ....

in 2007 he only played 1 game ..... he got 5 million.

Are you honestly trying to say Glenn has been underpaid and has reason to resent the Cowboys?

I'm simply suggesting there might be another perspective and some middle ground on this issue. But don't let that stop the assembling of the lynch mob.

I do like Terry but everyone can't be like TO. Typically, when you get that age, it's just basically over especially if you have knee injuries.

It may be time to move on.

In which of my two posts in this thread have I suggested "lynching" Glenn?

I want him to sign the waiver and either play or get his free 500,000.

Put the victim card away.
