Go find you a Mike Davis or Latavius Murray for pennies like other teams do for their big play RB. Zeke’s blocking and short yardage ain’t worth his pay.

He ran one play up the middle last week for 3 yrds. Every other play was to the right, rather a sweep, or pass.

Don't even bother...I have asked him for proof Tony can consistently run up the middle and consistently make big blocks in the trench.

He won;t do it because he can't.

100%. They’re both good. But Zeke on the field decreases the chances of a big play happening from the run game.

Like Shannon said in the video.. Zeke’s 19 yard run is probably 35 yards for Pollard.

It’s a great problem to have but long term Zeke’s contract is horrible horrible value.

its not just about the big plays, although Pollard has that and I think its because of when he is used and mixing his runs with Zeke. sometimes getting 4 yards is good. not every play is going to go for 7 yards. no primary RB averages 6,7 yards per carry. we can't take what he has done to date, and double the number of carries and expect same result.

with that said, I am not a zeke fan. I never wanted to draft a RB with the 4th pick. I never advocated for Zeke to get a contract, in fact I had said let him walk.....play tough with him. make him play out his contract.....not that I don't think he is a good RB. I think RBs can be had in lower rounds at much lower cost and you get high production from Rookies. RBs souldn't be paid high dollars any more. however, like I said, I do think its the combination that works better, than any one individual.

Pollard had 1...ONE big run in that game toward the end of the game. That inflated his stats.
Up until that point he really did not play all that well. Yes he helped, but he did not have a lot of big plays.

Fans are looking at that game through pro Pollard / anti Zeke glasses.
I was not overly impressed with him as a starter. Yes dalton at QB, OL banged up still. But they were playing better in that game.
I was impressed last week against LAC on how he was implemented in the game plan, and he succeeded. But not to the point to say he should replace Zeke.

His YPC was around 4.4 last week. I think any RB in the NFL would accept that in a heart beat.

Passing game. Modern day backs make big impacts in the passing game.


Kamara is one of those guys who is a much bette WR than he is what you think a RB should be.

I'll have to find the video but I saw a graphic that showed since 2019 Pollard has had about 4 runs of over 30 yds and Zeke has had one. The Cowboys should give Pollard more touches per game.

Problem is Zeke’s contract going forward and how much does that determine who is on the field.

one of the few? you expect him to have 7.7 YPC with more carries? is that reasonable? his total numbers may go up because he gets more touches/carries, but his averages will come down. and lets not take the SD game and extrapolate that to a career or a season even.
