While I understand your point, this kid would probably be the #1 DT in THIS YEARS draft. He would be a MAJOR PIECE in a rebuild. Not even 23 yet...

Getting this kid would have little to do with 2020 but more of filling a major void over the next 3-4 years.
Said before, I'd gladly give them 2021 3rd and 2022 conditional 3rd........this isn't a 1-year rental.

In general though if a player is an elite talent and the team is looking to get away from him I like the idea of trading.

We desperately need a force in the middle of this team. If he can be here for the next 5-8 years for us then i'd capitalize on the opportunity.



It's like Minkah Fitzpatrick.. That was an opportunity to get possibly the next Earl Thomas and a great leader.

Just me but from what I've heard so far, this isn't a strong defensive draft of blue-chippers.

We’d be trading a top 5-10 pick for him and he isn’t worth it. Better to have flexibility with the pick. I’d rather have a LB or OT in the first.

Im still so mad we didnt even make a play for Minkah. Hes transformed that Steeler defense.

I think the Jets will want a 1st and 3rd but will probably take our 1st alone since it’s looking like a top 10 pick.
