Seriously though, I could see Washington wanting him. They have done nothing to upgrade thier pash rush. London Fletcher isn't a pass rushing specialist. Unless you consider 5th and 6th round LB additions Dallas Swatz and H.B. Blades to be pass rushing specialist, they don't have anyone that is going to get it done this year either. If by the time the trade deadline comes along and Ellis has 4.0 sacks as a pass rush specialist and we are getting pass rush contributions from the others, then let Ellis test the market with Washington...you never know.

Keep him for this year... and keep bradie James... Then tell the both of them to take reduced salaries/contracts or give them the boot.

Considering how much of a baby Ellis is acting, it would not seem out of the realm of possibility that he would also be vindictive and go to the Commanders; they could sure use his help and they would be more than willing to offer a max-deal to a thirty-plus year old DE coming off an achilles injury....
