Hands not nearly as large as some thought...still plenty big

How did he suddenly lose a full inch and a half on his hand size? It was just reported like a month ago that he had 11.5" hands.

I have big hands at exactly 10", and this guy's hands look considerably larger than mine... Not sure how he only measured with 10 1/4" hands. Strange.
