I will say that Goff proves how much coaching matters. When McVay couldn't find an answer to what Belechick was doing, Goff looked closer to his days with Fisher tonight. I'll just say that the gap isn't as big as some make it seem. While Dak does need better coaching, a strong supporting cast, and a solid running game to reach his full potential. Goff is also the type of QB who leans more towards needing coaching and a strong supporting cast, in order to consistently win.
He is far away from being more of the Brady type of QB, who can have any player plugged in on offense and still have his team be a playoff team. Even though coaching plays a huge part in the Patriots having 6 Superbowls. I believe that Goff is closer to a game manager than he is to what people believe it takes to be a true elite NFL QB.
