Going for the TD with 30 seconds to go - is that an unclassy move?

I was happy he ran it. Cause then it gave us a chance to make him fumble and maybe return it for a TD.

Although, that was major wishful thinking. I never lost hope in the game until it was over.

Overall, no but it makes the loss look worse than it really was. It was eleven points with four minutes to go and then ends up 21 so it looks like we were killed.

You watched the game didn't you? You know what kind of game it was and I would figure most football fans watched it so they know what the deal is. Pats putting points up or kneeling down on it was their call and it did not bother me one way or the other. Our mistakes bothered me but I'm optimistic that things will get better.

I'm with you. I alway hold out hope and as long as they were willing to run plays they ran the risk of some freak play.

Although I did not really appreciate the final TD, what difference does it make?

There seems to really be alot of crying in this thread about that. Well, guess what...if the Pats just took the knee it's not going to erase the "L" or make the Cowboys standings as 5.5 - 1, is it?

I think that last TD is something Parcells would not have done out of respect for the opposing coach, but even last year Sean Payton did an onside kick against the Cowboys when the game was already out of hand...

In other words, it does not matter. And who really cares how people that did not view the game may think that the Cowboys got totally blown out?

Now, if this game would have been against a team like the Rams that came in and dogged the Cowboys like this, then we could/should be embarassed or mad...

The Cowboys actually played the Pats pretty tough. Aside from penalities and some questionable calls and dirty play from the Pats, the Cowboys did pretty good for a first year coached team. At least be thankful that the Cowboys are the only team that scored 27 agains the Pats so far..

Chill out, and lets get on to the VikQueens!

;)

Down by 14, there simply wasn't enough time for any kind of comeback. Even with a 100 yard fumble recovery for a TD, we still needed a successful onside kick for a shot at a hail mary score. Just the run back and the onside kick would have probably ran the clock out.

Nothing wrong with major wishful thinking though.

LT was right about them...they are classless. There really isn't any other way to look at it.

You just said it fumble recovery and quick TD and onside kick and a chance at a hailmary. 99.9 percent of the time not going to happen but .1 precent is always better than 0

enjoy it....enjoy it.....but at the end of the day, at least we know all 5 of our SB titles are legit.....the same cannot be said for the Cheatriots.....
Ha. That's exactly it. We won ten straight playoff games and three Superbowls because of a video camera.

Not all of us feel that way. Congratulation on a well played game yesterday, the Pats pure and simple out played us.

Simply not enough time regardless, unless you can run back an onside kick for a TD. Even then, will they let you kick the extra point with no time left in regulation?

Not sure what the rules are exactly for onside kicks....but who cares.

Well you won the first due to an unknown tuck rule but you didn't dominate in any of the SBs so it is arguable that you did receive some benefit from Belicheat.

As I said 99.9 it is not going to happen but I never believe in giving up even if we are talking .1 percent of a chance

Why congratulate the troll?

Because he is a Pats fan, his team won and I'm not a sore loser. I don't make execuses, I don't blame the refs and I don't running around hollering how the Pats have no class or they cheated. They won I tip my hat and hope we get another shot at them.

Aside from a few issues I have with the Pats, they beat us! Simple as that...

They taught the Cowboys a lesson that I hope the Cowboys learned. Oh, and, yeah, they won the battle but they have not won the war!

Thanks. I think if your offense had gotten started earlier it would have been alot closer. The score betrays the actual game. Penalties killed you but that's a pretty easy fix from a coach's viewpoint.

Good coaching perhaps? But an NFL conspiracy is much cooler to talk about.

You mean a shot in the SB?

Not me, I hope they choke in the playoffs or worse. I don't wish them any kind of luck whatsoever.

On radio defended call, said once Wade called the timeout he couldn't run out the clock. Not taking any chances with giving Dallas the ball in a 2 score game. See Buffalo ending.

He said no way was he taking a knee, fg block returned for a TD would have been about only way he could lose game.
Decided to run it and make it 3 score. If not leave Dallas a 95+ yard field.

The great coaches attack and keep attacking. If our defense had stopped him we would have had ball and some time. Thats who I am blaming.

What a bunch of sour grapes. We played them real tight for 35 minutes then they steam rolled us.

I tip my hat and try and figure out how to get better for rematch.
