Going forward w/ Romo

He had a number of deep balls to Robinson that were beautiful

I remember a couple off of broken plays that were pretty good throws.. good call.

Just read it.. my only question is if that would be for balls traveling 20 plus yards in the air or just completions that end up going for 20 plus yards.

Either way, those arn't bad numbers. I'd like to see what his numbers are for balls traveling 20- 30 yards or more in the air are, because to me, it just seems like he doesn't have much touch on the deep throws and misses wide open guys too frequently.

Short to intermediate routes he seems pretty darn accurate, but i don't see a very soft touch on the deep balls. That's not to say he can't throw them, and clearly it shows he's at least fairly accurate on mid to deep routes.

Give the guy more time in the backfield, so we can really judge em. With all the romo bashers around here (myself included) it would great to see how he does with a lil time...

Also, jump in that weight room, we're all scard for u.

why are we acting like Romo hasn't had time to throw his entire career? This is the 10 year with Dallas and 7th as a starter. He has played with good & bad offensive lines....the results are same. Is there a statue of limitations on how long we can treat an undrafted FA with kid gloves?

Okay, Romo is great his team sucks. He'll be great till he retires with no Super Bowls, then we can get on with real football.
Romo is great and yes, this team does suck. It's sad but true. When a QB produces at the level Romo did last season and you go 8-8, that team is complete crap.

I wonder if any of the 40 some posts in the 4+ years as a member were ever positive.

Im excited to see what the offense can do if Murray stays healthy and Dallas can finally sustain a running attack again.

Thanks for pointing out that he had a nice throw 2 years ago.

Moving on..

You just said he can't throw the deep ball, you were proved wrong.

I don't think Murray will be a guy who is injury prone. Freak injury this year.

Over the years, Romo's had guys Wide open deep, and has definently missed em more than ur average elite qb. Stats are overrated, and never tell the whole story.

I agree with most of you, romo is good enough to win, doesn't mean he isnt flawless... I believe a few months in the weight room would do him wonders. And a better line might help. The only thing other than that I can truly question, is his confidence and what might happen if he DID make it to the big game.

I actually just ate some good Thai food, so I'm as happy as it gets. I'm not happy with losing over the last 6 years with the current offensive leader, but other than that, I'm peachy.

Then ****.

Obviously romo is at least a decent qb.
I'm very interested to see him going forward.

Other then being perceived as non-clutch; he still has some work to do. Ie. throwing the deep ball. Romo's arm strength has to improve. His deep balls are atrocious.
You guys have no idea about arm strength. Watch the first Giants game. He threw one pass to Robinson 55 yards in the air like it was nothing. He has no problem with arm strength. Do you even know what you are talking about. He can throw with anybody.

Arm strength isn't the issue.. at least it shouldn't be.

Lol romo can barley reach the end zone from the 50, and he definently needs to wind up. And even then his ball has no arc

Well, the one dude said arm strength was an issue when it clearly isn't. Accurate? I think it has more to do with him being a little wary of throwing an interception. He rarely throws the ball up just to let his receiver fight for it. He'd rather be a little long if it's tight coverage, which it always seems to be.

Dude....no arc? If you can throw the ball 50 yards with no arc, that means you have to throw it harder. Know about physics?
