But I'd rather we go with Coop and ride him to the overall first pick in the draft. Then either draft Bryce Young or hold the pick for a ransom and get multiple draft picks from Detroit, who needs a quarterback in the worst way.
Then ... draft Will Anderson team him with Parsons and create the Giants defense of the 80s and turn Dak into a bus driver much like Phil Simms was.

I am going to create an official CZ Poll for who the Cowboys should get to play quarterback this season until Dak returns.

Before I do that, I wanted to get opinions from everyone on who to include.

I already plan to add ..

Ben Denucci
Will Grier
Cooper Rush

The only rule is it must be a player who 1) is a free agent, 2) is on another team's practice squad, or 3) is currently on another team but is considered a backup quarterback, not the starter so a trade is at least possible.

Suggestions?

Obviously the best QB on the market is Jimmy G, but he is probably going to cost a 2 or a 3.

Not sure I want to spend that type of draft capital on a one year rental, so this is going to be a hard pass for me.

Honestly, I just roll with what we have and take the high draft picks.
