Sorry, but Roy is having the best season of any strong safety in the NFC. He has more big plays than any of them, and he is making them all over the field. Roy is the only defensive back in the past four years to have at least 2.5 sacks, two interceptions and three forced fumbles for turnovers, and he's the first defensive back in at least five years to have all of those plus a defensive touchdown and a fumble recovery.
Roy's biggest competition for the strong safety spot comes from Mike Brown and Michael Lewis. If you add up all of Roy's big plays (sacks, interceptions, forced fumbles for turnovers, fumble recoveries and touchdowns), he has more of them than Brown and Lewis COMBINED (9.5 to 9.0). If Roy doesn't make the Pro Bowl, THAT will be a joke.
