Going to the New England game

My son (he's 31) and I are flying in on Thursday and have tickets for Texas-Oklahoma on Saturday and Cowboys-Patriots on Sunday. I was so excited about both these games but now am kind of bummed because both games look to be pretty bad. No Romo, Dez, etc. and no Longhorn team whatsoever. We would like to do some pre-game tailgating on Sunday. We are staying at the Howard Johnsons approx. 1 mile from the stadium. Any suggestions?

So my Longhorns wooonnnnn!!!!!! Been partying on Greenville and Henderson and went to Candleroom to find Witten and I'm drunk. Gonna tailgate tomorrow with dudes we met.... Lol! Yeah I'm on a roof on Greenville
