Pretty sure it was after the debacle in Philly from 08.
I don't think it has to do with just the one hit. Collapsing in the shower in 08 and then he took a knee to back trying to tackle Hall on a fumble by Barber and that had him sore for a bit in 09.
That was 3 years ago and it wasn't anything serious because it never made news.
I certainly didn't hear anything about it and Romo never missed a snap or showed any sign of being injured during the game.
QB's are going to take hits and be sore occasionally after tough games football is a contact sport.
The Cowboys got killed by Philly that day the shots Romo took in that game don't happen every week it was just one of those games.
He was probably sore trying to chase down the defender who scooped up his fumble and ran 96 yards for a TD.
Romo's had only 2 injuries since 06 that caused him to miss playing time.
He broke his pinky in 08 and his collarbone last season. Those were freak injuries.

Romo has missed 3/4 of a season in that time. And what's the point in comparing one of the worst OL in football (GB) to Dallas OL? And how does that do anything to negate a claim that Romo has been hit?
Unless you're trying to argue that he hasn't been hit because there are players who have been hit more (if that makes any sense at all), I don't see why Green Bay or Pittsburgh are in the discussion. Sure, there are guys who get hit worse. That doesn't mean that Romo doesn't get hit.
If you add the last 12 games of the 07 season with the games Romo played in 08, 09 and 2010 that would make it Romo's last 47 games.
During that period he was sacked 89 times compared to 115 sacks for Rodgers in his last 47 games.
As for which team had the worst OL last season Green Bay or Dallas the stats say Green Bay.
The Packers gave up more sacks than the Cowboys and the Cowboys played most of the season with old man Kitna who's not the most nimble of foot.
The Packers ranked 24th in rushing last season and the Cowboys were ranked 16th so every stat gives the Cowboys OL an edge over the Packers.
No one is arguing that Romo hasn't been hit but he hasn't taken the beating some of you are trying to spin. These are just more apologies for Romo.
Pittsburgh and Green Bay are in the discussion because they got to the SB with OL's that don't protect their QB's as well as the Cowboys OL have protected theirs.
The stats back it up!

Yeah, Detroit sucks and Mike Martz in Detroit sucks worse. What's the point?
The point is the Cowboys OL kept Kitna upright more than most of the teams he's played for and he's pushing 40.

Did you forget JAX an GB?
Did you forget Kitna was more rusty than the tin man in the Wizard of Oz from not playing for over 2 years?
JAX and GB were the first 2 games he started after Romo got hurt.
He got virtually no reps in practice until Romo's injury. The Cowboys had to simplify the offense until he got up to speed.
When you really get right down to it, it wasn't Romo's injury that demoralized the team because they were already demoralized at 1-5.
The team quit on Wade that's what ultimately caused the debacle in GB.
Once candy *** was fired the team started to respond.
The Cowboys were 1-5 with Romo and ended up a better team with Kitna.
Naturally the change in HC played a big part in the improvement but the fact is the team finished much better than it started.
No guarantees the Cowboys would have finished strong under Romo because he's only been able to maintain his game once in 5 seasons during Dec/Jan.
