Yeah, but that supports the narrative that we won games with T. Smith and Zeke despite Dak's shortcomings. When they weren't around, we couldn't win. The "play design" argument is pretty weak. Yes, there is some variation, but for the most part, NFL teams run a lot of similar plays. If you watch enough film on a team you can see patterns in play-calling and design too.AKOYE is a Dez apologist who doesn't like Dak. All of his videos of the 2 are slanted that way.
Yea, he brings up some valid points but he doesn't know how the offense is designed, or who is suppose to be the first read on a given play.
You can look at tape of every game and find people open on the backside of plays.
Dallas averaged 30 points a game when T. Smith and Zeke were in the line up so he didn't exactly cripple the offense like he is suggesting.
The guy is far more critical of Dak than I am, but his video shows where Dak needs serious work in his game. People have been willing to give Dak a pass because of the strength of his rookie season, but the fact remains that Dez probably got much more flack than he deserves with fans, while Dak's issues tend to fly under the radar.
