Good film breakdown of Dak

AKOYE is a Dez apologist who doesn't like Dak. All of his videos of the 2 are slanted that way.

Yea, he brings up some valid points but he doesn't know how the offense is designed, or who is suppose to be the first read on a given play.

You can look at tape of every game and find people open on the backside of plays.

Dallas averaged 30 points a game when T. Smith and Zeke were in the line up so he didn't exactly cripple the offense like he is suggesting.
Yeah, but that supports the narrative that we won games with T. Smith and Zeke despite Dak's shortcomings. When they weren't around, we couldn't win. The "play design" argument is pretty weak. Yes, there is some variation, but for the most part, NFL teams run a lot of similar plays. If you watch enough film on a team you can see patterns in play-calling and design too.

The guy is far more critical of Dak than I am, but his video shows where Dak needs serious work in his game. People have been willing to give Dak a pass because of the strength of his rookie season, but the fact remains that Dez probably got much more flack than he deserves with fans, while Dak's issues tend to fly under the radar.

Actually I was one of the ones hoping for Dak to turn it around. I still do hope that he does but I'm not going to say that I have a lot of faith that he will.
Me too. Hopefully he's used the off-season well in improving his game.

I'm still waiting for fickle fans to start overreacting negatively about Dak. My over/under is about Week 7.

I am not saying that Dak can't improve, but I am saying he is over blowing some of the issues, and nit picking every single play and read to death. For every play you can find where Dak missed Dez you can find 2 more where Dez had single coverage and couldn't generate any separation.

Go look at the first couple of Saints game last year when Drew Brees was getting constant pressure from all their offensive line struggles and tell me again how not having a guy like T. Smith doesn't matter.

People expecting Dak to be Romo or Aikman are in for a rough go of things. He has different strengths that the coaches need to utilize better.

Now I know you're kidding.

QB's even as good as Dak are very difficult to find.
Time will tell I have no idea what quarterback will he be.As of now to me he is not that good period.
can he drive the bus? sure he can, but he won't take you to the promise land unless he improves with his footwork, accuracy, better pocket awareness and taking better reads.

All this guys videos are Dak hating. Of course it's cherry picked. He's not aware of the play called, the routes or the defensive schemes. It's incomplete. Can't really take it all serious.

Of course, but you were talking as if it was as easy as 1 2 3.

I would take a QB prospect in the 4th this year, myself.

I think that is the wise idea the cowboys should do.Now will be there any good ones after the second round?

To be fair, nobody knows any of that. Not you and not me.

We consider the source, but more importantly we consider the facts presented and judge whether they are valid and how much weight they hold compared to other factors.

So, in general, nobody on this bored is offering anything worth glossing over because we're all just a bunch ig'nant fools.

Yeah, but the point is that Dak is not throwing to the right spot (the video shows that it was not just to Dez). Watch the video if you haven't and you'll see the point.
The Cowboys just cut the worst route runner on the roster.

That should tell you something.

Yeah, but just because something is "biased", it does not make it factually incorrect.
Really? Nobody outside the team can factually state fault in games. So if the route should break at 15 yards and that is where the QB throws it, but the receiver breaks off the route at 12 yards and the ball sails way over the receiver's head and gets picked is it the QB's fault?
Without that information there is no being factual, it becomes an opinion and makes these things useless.

any good film breakdown would include a lot of examples of a players good plays, all of the strengths and skills they do bring to the table and how to maximize those attributes.
