All this guys videos are Dak hating. Of course it's cherry picked. He's not aware of the play called, the routes or the defensive schemes. It's incomplete. Can't really take it all serious.
I'm a high school coach. I've watched countless thousands of hours of tape over the years. These videos are meaningless. If I had an agenda and a lot of spare time I could cherry pick 10 hours of video showing that Tom Brady sucked. You could seriously do it with any body. I seriously don't have the time to watch enough Cowboys video to give a truly educated opinion on Dak and even if I did I wouldn't have the full story on the play design so I would only be getting half the story. My feeling about Dak is that he is a QB that has a lot of promise and played well for a season and a half, but regressed after the mauling in Atlanta, which is not unexpected. I think the release of Dez has a lot to do with making him feel confident again in the offense.

To be fair, nobody knows any of that. Not you and not me.

We consider the source, but more importantly we consider the facts presented and judge whether they are valid and how much weight they hold compared to other factors.

So, in general, nobody on this bored is offering anything worth glossing over because we're all just a bunch ig'nant fools.
I know what I saw with my own eyes. You believe what you want. Not a factual source I would prefer. The body of work in these videos is shady and I'll leave it at that.

I'm with you, reasonable response.

I'm a newbie here, so I can't answer the question. BTW, why is this a dumb video? Many of the points it makes are fair.
Because Dak is "GOD" he can do no wrong!

Trust me most of these Dak-Bots will be screaming for Dak's head by week 11.....

Good stuff.

I used to watch more video than I do now, but then I realized exactly what you're saying. Most vids are extremely cherry picked to make the player look good/bad.

I think many posters on this site would be shocked at how often the Brady's and Rodgers' of the league miss open WR's or don't see someone. This is a position of milliseconds, and what a QB sees is different 1 second later.

Same w/ that stupid "meat on the bone" fooforaw. That was one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Every RB misses a hole of picks the wrong hole at times.

Ah, yes a nice variation of the good old I hope I am wrong.
Not really. Dak did in fact stink it up a bit last season. His inconsistency was glaring. I hope that he can turn it around. I don't want them to be looking for another QB.

I didn't state an opinion on the video. I just said, we're all ignorant when it comes to this stuff by your own accord.

Yeah, but that supports the narrative that we won games with T. Smith and Zeke despite Dak's shortcomings. When they weren't around, we couldn't win. The "play design" argument is pretty weak. Yes, there is some variation, but for the most part, NFL teams run a lot of similar plays. If you watch enough film on a team you can see patterns in play-calling and design too.

The guy is far more critical of Dak than I am, but his video shows where Dak needs serious work in his game. People have been willing to give Dak a pass because of the strength of his rookie season, but the fact remains that Dez probably got much more flack than he deserves with fans, while Dak's issues tend to fly under the radar.
But we did win games without Smith and Zeke

I guess 1/2 way through the season Dak became a bad QB who can't win. Maybe just maybe the lack of depth on the offensive line and losing their best player (Zeke) played a roll. #TeamGame

Really? Nobody outside the team can factually state fault in games. So if the route should break at 15 yards and that is where the QB throws it, but the receiver breaks off the route at 12 yards and the ball sails way over the receiver's head and gets picked is it the QB's fault?
Without that information there is no being factual, it becomes an opinion and makes these things useless.
So, you basically are saying that the 2nd year pro is right and the 14 year, 7 year 4 year, 4 year guys are wrong? Sorry, I'm going with Dak error over Witten error every time (and I'll be right most of the time).

Makes me a fan that has moved on and supports current QB.
I'm a fan of the current QB. I was psyched when we drafted him in the late 4th round a couple of years ago. I like a lot of what he does, but he has some real flaws. He's young and has a lot to learn about reading NFL Ds. He needs to learn to "throw his guys open". He does tend to hold the ball too long and has a big wind up (which makes it hard to deliver on time and on target). These things are pointed out in the video and I've been saying this for a while.

He tends to have good instincts as a runner. He can be punishing and elusive and can make plays on the run (running or passing). He can make clutch deep throws, but needs to work on his consistency on his deep and intermediate passes. I love his intangibles. A lot to like about Dak, but to say that he doesn't have some serious holes in his game is rather silly.

Two issues I see with Dak
Slow to pick his target. You really have to throw to who will be open not who is open. Common issue with young QB
Gets his footwork out of whack some
These are issues that many young players have but like every young QB he has to work on them in order to improve
