Good game Washington

Dallas just blew every likely tie breaking scenario with Philly to win the division unless Dallas sweeps. This is a season altering type of loss. How does a wild card trip to the big easy sound to everyone?

I'll take a trip to the playoffs any way that you want to design it.

They won. I will not try and take anything away from them.

They stuck their game plan and they worked it well. Our team simply couldn't, or wouldn't adjust and that blitzing got Romo absolutely killed.

3 plays stood out to me in the first half..

1. Murray running right into Harris's back when he could've got at least 30 more yards.

2. Randle fumble

Murray has a play or two like that every week. It's why I still contend he simply doesn't have the best vision. He always seems to be running into the back of his own guy and costing himself yards.

Those two fumbles, especially the Murray one, were costly. He still can't seem to get that problem corrected either. That at the very least cost us 3 points cause we were deep on their end.

Weeden had no problems with the blitz. He simply moved us right down the field and scored. Not ragging on Romo, just saying what I saw.

Weeden did benefit from the fact that they did run Murray, as they should, and he got some nice runs. Weeden was never, that I can recall, in any third and long situations where they were going to all out blitz him.

Weeden did well though. I'll give him credit for what he was able to do. He did what you want your back up to be able to do.

Sorry, but if McCoy can drive them late in the game Weeden can.. He was playing well enough to stay in. Dallas looked totally out of sync as soon as Romo went back in. Whether it was play calling or whatever, they were out of sync.

The more I think about it, the more this game was fishy to me. Only one screen pass the whole game and that netted 23 yards and Martin destroyed that defender down the field. And they didn't go to it again.

I was disappointed in the defense tonight and how we kept giving them 3rd and manageable but they won a hard fought game.

I still feel good about the season and this doesn't change anything in my mind if Romo is healthy.


Btw, I'd be upset in a way if I was Dan Snyder. If Washington played that hard on a weekly basis they wouldn't be such a pathetic bunch year in and year out. I hope they give that same effort against Philly but I doubt they will.

That was not a good game for either side.

NFL records mean squat if your team does not have success along with it.

We'll have to agree to disagree, then. I just don't see how effective blitzing, great third-down defense and superb coverage can be chalked up to anything but good football. A rookie corner shut Dez out. I don't think it's a coincidence that some teams are at the top of the defensive turnover list annually.
