Ok here's my deal.
I think Linehan can be brilliant, I think he can be a great play caller.
That said, I hope he dumps the offense he designed for a immobile, Romo and continues to develop the offense he designed for Dak. Last year he seemed to withdraw somewhat into the dink and dunk passing attack, along with the base running game which everybody had figured out. He started the season with the offense wide open, Dak was rolling, optioning, loaded with miss direction and 4/5 wide's.. As the year went on he seemed to get away from it to a degree. He did not need to get away from it, it was giving people fits, but sometimes OC's egos force them to return too their "own" brand. So my hope is that both coordinators run their respective units wide open and don't look back.

I’m not going to lie, I’m simply going to go ahead and say it: Boneless wings are just chicken nuggets.

I also think he was trying to protect the rookie a bit. Rolls and boots are awesome and gives defenses fits, but it also can put your qb on a stretcher

I wasnt happy with the fact that the offense tried to get cute in the playoffs and pass when should have just ran the ball. Not sure who's influence that was.

Im just happy that Garrett isnt running the offense anymore.

Linehan learned from the mistakes he made in 2015, which is the best compliment you can give any coach. In 2015, he tried to fit Brandon Weeden and Matt Cassel into an offense designed for Romo to thrive.

It failed massively.

The QB thing was big, but the reliance on handing over the run game to Randle was an issue as well.

It was clear from the first game of the season that the formula that worked in 2014 was gone.

Linehan will have a playbook this coming season catered to Dak's abilities rather than pulling from the Romo menu of plays to have Dak operate from. Linehan is a good play caller and I'm sick of fans second guessing how he does his job.

If jimmy johnson was still the head coach I truly believe we would have won against greenbay.

I think it would have been tight against Atlanta. Not sure we would have won,but we wouldn't just lay down or come out flat.

Got no proof. Just my feelings.
Not very subtle...but very, very true. The HC position is the clubs greatest weakness at this point. If the Cowboys are to win a SB in the coming few years, Garrett must go.

No problem with him or Marinelli. I liked Norv Turner better though!

Dallas was ill prepared for the Greenbay game. They also went away from what got them there. Tried to get cute. They were out coached in that game.

Norv Turner was Jason Garrett's coach when he was Troy Aikman's backup. I think Norv would work out so well working now under JG. Linehan makes Garrett a better coach as the article pointed out.

Yep and we can all thank Jones for kicking Garrett to the curb on play calling and forcing him to bring someone in. Kudos to Garrett for selecting Linehan.
