So conceivably, you could be paying $350 for 4 games that are not on TV just to watch them on your computer.
Or $50 if somebody is cool with letting you use their account.

Well let's do the math:

Primetime games:

Week 1 - Wash
Week 7 Giants
Week 9 GB
Week 12 NO (thanksgiving)
Week 14 Philly
Week 16 Ari

Weeks we have a strong possibility of being the national game. All of these are at 4:00 EST with limited competition

Week 5 Ten (vs SD/Oak or NO/Ari)
Week 6 Min – I’ll cold stone lock that’s the national game
Week 10 NYG (vs. KC/Den, STL/SF or Sea/Ari)

Remaining 1:00 EST games

Week 2 CHI
Week 3 HOU
Week 8 JAX
Week 11 DET
Week 15 Wash
Week 17 PHI

I’d be willing to bet at least 2 of these will be selected to be national depending how the season is going, and certainly Philly Week 17 if the division is still up for grabs (or even Wash week 15 if they surprise).

So conceivably, you could be paying $350 for 4 games that are not on TV just to watch them on your computer.

(granted I didn’t take into account local teams where you are – i.e. I think the Jets play at the same time as Dal in week 6 against MN, so being in the NY area I’ll lose a game there. But still….)

yeah, I think living in Nashville, we will probably only miss 2 games, depending on flex scheduling. This would be for my boyfriend, who's a big steelers fan, and it seems like he'll be missing most of their games (on at the same time as the Titan's generally).

Its a shame you dont know someone who can get the superfan "to go" package and use their online streams for $50 that they charge subscribers.
It may not be HD but it is a good stream.

.

This is what I am doing. I have a buddy who gets Direct TV and already bought the NFL Ticket. I'm gving him a hundo to let me use the internet feed.

Has anyone ever seen the internet feed? Is it good? DTV told me I can open multiple browsers so I could have 5 games running on 5 different PCs -- can anyone confirm this?

At least try and negotiate that price if you can. They'll probably be less flexibible because you're not a DTV subscriber, but doesn't mean they won't budge.

Very nice. I've used it for a while when DTV didn't think about changing their URL from the free weekend. Worked for over a month. The stream was solid with quick load times switching between games. Can't confirm playing it on multiple PCs though.

I'll probably end up finding a way to shell out the $350 for this. The Falcons or some other lame NFCS team will block out a few of those games, being able to pick the other games to watch is nice, and Veetle/Sopcast/whatever streams are sketchy and often poor quality. Steep price though...

Here's the link to the offer. They start selling it Sep. 8.

Anyone know if Sunday Ticket comes with NFL Network or at least shows the NFLN's games? Being able to watch the Cowboys with the whole family on Christmas night might completely sway me.

They only show Sunday games I think. I remember reading about some Houston fans who got upset when one of their games got moved, and DTV was like you're outta luck, we only promise the game if it is on Sunday.

Thanks, your right. Just found it on their website too:

Streaming is only available for NFL SUNDAY TICKET™ To-Go games. Sunday night, Monday, Thursday, and Saturday games are not part of NFL SUNDAY TICKET™ To-Go and therefore not eligible for streaming.

To me the 300 bucks for sunday ticket is nothing compared to what I would spend in a bar.

I figure... lets say 8-10 Commanders games are not broadcast on nationwide TV. I would spend about 50 bucks per week (food and drinks) for me and my lady to watch it at a bar (400-500 bucks).

I can watch every single game of any team. Either live or on the replay. In the comfort of my own home without having to drive home after, and with the best seats.

You are crazy to pay $3 to watch the skins play.

I pay it, have for 10+ years, I enjoy the piece of mind and it's only a little extra on bill for a few months out of the year.

I can see why some dont want to pay it unless your one of those people that ***** about it and then either spend $100 a weekend at a bar to watch the game which I'll never understand.

For anyone considering getting it that can have a dish why not just get the dish then and save yourself a hefty chuck of change? If anything I'm underestimating the amount of people with half a brain.

Because my AT&T Uverse blows their overall TV programing out of the water for a cheaper price + my highspeed internet is cheaper and more reliable than the previous company.

Plus when it rains which is quite often in Houston I can lose channels

My internet connection is important and matters for me since I work from home 1 day a week and I am on call.

Lots of reason to never use Direct TV

You can get directv and only activate it during the NFL season, you only pay for the NFL Ticket and $5 a month after that to keep your account active.

I must have been extremely lucky in my 20+ years of owning a dish from Primestar to DirecTv when they bought them out because if I lose my signal a half dozen times a year for more then 2 minutes it's unusual

For the question about Comcast's basic internet speed.... you have nothing to worry about. The lowest comcast speed is plenty fast enough to stream a game.

The other thing to take into consideration when trying to figure out which game will be on in your area is which network has the doubleheader for the week.

I live in the baltimore ravens area. The ravens are obviously going to be on the AFC network most weeks. However, if they are playing an NFC team it may be on the NFC network. Or if the Ravens are a primtime game that week the network may choose to broadcast the Ravens divisional rivals games like the Steelers gave. Its just so hard to figure out in advanced which game will be shown. Except the Primetime games of course.

Thanks! Yeah, that is how I figured it out too. They usually play the Cowboys game unless the Titans are at home at the same time. Even if they are away, they'll show the Titans on CBS, and the Cowboys on Fox (usually in the years past and I don't see why it would change now). I looked up the schedule, I think I'll miss Week 2 and a later week in the season.

DirecTV can pound sand. I'll take my 45/45 Fios any day and twice on sunday...I'll miss NFL ticket but DirecTV is a ripoff. At least I get amazing high speed internet and non-watered down HD with Fios plus 75% of Cowboys games will probably be nationally televised anyways.

Just wanted to give an update...

I called about this service, and you can order the service now, and cancel by September 20th for a FULL Refund (i.e. get to watch week 1 and week 2 for free). This is true even if you don't DTV. After that, there is NO refund, and you still have to pay the full price.

He said about mid season, they do offer the sunday ticket at half price.

Please, call to verify it yourself because sometimes CSRs talk out their ***.

So potentially, you can order now and cancel on September 20th, then have another person order it midway through the season. You'll miss Week 3-8ish, so just see if it is worth it. I couldn't get a discount on the full price.

No im just really cheap and only spend money on football and food :lmao2:

my problem with this:

That nfl replay thing. $40 for the whole season, sure its not live but thats 1/8th the price. Thats the price of going to Hooters around twice, so I got 10 games last year, say two times I stay home its a good deal for me, ill stream it w. cruddy quality, but the next day re-watch it on the nfl replay thing. Sure its the cheap way to do it, but its much more financially sound. Im not going to be spending $60 per game ill watch and enjoy on it as I would w/ this package.

NFL Replay/Game Rewind package: https://gamerewind.nfl.com/nflgr/secure/registerform?icamapign=GR_HP_CP&module=HP_spotlight

then you just stream it on links provided on the zone on Sundays, and wa-la your watching games you don't get for around $10 a piece. Sounds better to me.
