I like Floaty, but this comment did make me

I like what Franklin said about Goff, particularly how he trusted me to call his own plays. That's speaks to his football intelligence.

I'm starting to like this Goff kid. :)

should have been trusted "him" not trusted "me." I hate autocorrect.

I guess if we pick him, we need to win home field advantage and keep the roof closed :)

That's what I was thinking too. If our team is good, we won't have to worry about bad weather because we'll have home-field advantage.

Let's also not forget his OL wasn't great.

He's been sacked 30, 25, 26 times in his three years at Cal.

Considering he's played 37 games that's a lot of times he's been hit, so you do have to factor that in as well.

That is very true
He did have a bad line

Honestly, I think he has fixed the issue, he indicated as much to all here at the combine that he specifically worked on and fixed the issue.

Nothing wrong with the criticism, it is fair but we must also look at the most recent results with regard to the issue.

I agree
And he did have a bad oline
There are lots of things to like about Goff and every player coming into the nfl has some flaws. That's just the nature of learning and maturing over time

He is hands down the best QB in the draft.

If we're able to land him at 4, that's a major win

As much as I hate on him for his skinny frame the guy is only 21 and should be able to put on more size to that frame.

Hopefully that would lead to him being able to get more zip on those passes.

Also, his footwork in the pocket is the best in this draft.

Hes only 21 years old so even if Romo played 3 or 4 more years then Goff would only be 24 or 25.

I think Wentz has way more potential but if we drafted Goff I still think there is plenty of reason to get excited.

I just can't stop see'ing a young Sam Bradford when I see Goff.

Actually, bulking up won't increase velocity, it will decrease it. Velocity comes from flexibility, not strength

After seeing that, I'm more of a Goff fan. He has nice movement in the pocket. He's incredibly accurate on the intermediate to deep ball. And he's always looking to complete the pass.

Besides, I know he (and Wentz for that matter) would love to play for America's Team rather than for the Cleveland Browns.

Does anyone want to play for the Browns? Well, anyone that has a choice.

In terms of accuracy and just having that composure in the pocket. Give me Goff. His upside is also good. People act like he's maxed out.
