Do some research and see if you can find reliable information about Romo not practicing in private with his receivers during the months of March and April. Saying that he didn't is the type of speculation that gets thrown around until fans believe that it is fact, much like talking heads and fans labeling Romo as a choker despite evidence to the contrary.

As I said, it was debunked because there were photos from one such practice and the players involved were like, "What's the big deal?" because it wasn't anything unusual.

We're in a heavier social media day when players playing pitch and catch together gets immediately posted. But there was actually a time when practicing in private was private. The players didn't post a bunch of pictures about it and the media was neither alerted nor invited.
I already did plenty of research. Couldn't find any practices of Romo with his receivers during the months of March and April, which is why I posted what I did. Now you go find some facts supporting your comments.

If you base a teams strength solely on record you need to check yourself.
"You are what your record says you are"

I didn't say it. It's a guideline not a hard line.

I know that tampa team....dysfunction. They blew up the team even MORE than when Ariens QUIT. Mkay?

Lecturing ME about checking myself. Come on dude. We both got comments deleted....can you ever learn?

Yes....some injuries sure. But....Very dysfunctional team.
Including a qb who couldnt decide to retire or not, personal distractions....and head coach who did not win the previous super bowl.
I know you'll ignore these facts.
Tampa Bay had won the Super Bowl in February of 2021, so they only were I full year removed from when they played us to start the 2022 season. They had most of that team still intact and still had Tom Brady at QB whom you Dak critics have labeled as being the G.O.A.T. and said he would lead his team to beat our Cowboys this past January during this past season's playoffs. Y'all were silent for most of the week following the beating Dak and the Cowboys gave Tom Brady and his Buccaneers.

According to you all games are won/lost by the QB. He beat the GOAT.

I already showed you your "research" sucks".
Post any info you find of others doing it during these 2 months.

You said. I did. I answered you but not good enough. You just want to fight. Admins have been begging us not to do this. Since i reply to you I should receive the same punishment as you.

And the head coach QUIT.

I resent you using "ya'll" because you have no clue what you are talking about. You just want to fight.

You okay? Everything okay at home? You seem unhappy. Resentful. That someone has the nerve to love the cowboys yet have different opinions than you,

So you couldn't find any practices of Romo with his receivers during the months of March and April translates to Romo and his receivers never practiced together in March or April?

Guess what? There are a lot of QBs you won't find photos of practicing with receivers in March or April because no one broadcasted it. The players just did it.

You are making a statement of fact based on no evidence. As I've said, I have seen a small amount of evidence to the contrary. The fact that that's probably been 10 years or more ago makes it hard to dig up.

But I'm tired of this. I'm fighting covid and don't have the energy to continue making an effort here. Believe what you want, and I'll just chuckle when you get upset over something that's said about Prescott without proof to back it up.

The point is to work on timing, not overcome DB’s. Have you never actually practiced as a QB/WR duo before? The QB has to adjust his throws to match the speed of each receiver. That is what they are doing. It has nothing to do with reading coverages or preventing interceptions. It’s just basic practice that every QB needs with his receivers.
Yes bc Jumbo is either an NFL QB or an NFL WR, thus his question, "Have you never actually practiced as a QB/WR duo before?" Scoff.....as if.

Okay...so you want to celebrate and admire and worship, this?.....

Limping into the playoffs due to winning a bottom-five division in NFL history, the Bucs did the bare minimum. Tom Brady unretired, and Tampa Bay brought back impact free agents Ryan Jensen and Carlton Davis and added other veterans for a last ride of sorts. Brady's interior O-line exiting the picture -- via retirement, free agency and Jensen's injury -- doomed the team, which fell from second to 25th offensively and ranked last on the ground. Brady-led comebacks over the Rams and Saints prevented a 10-loss season, but the all-time great still showed clear regression. The Cowboys put the Bucs out of their misery in the wild-card round."

You tell yourself "it s just steve he's an idiot"

I might be. But in this case I am not making it up. We beat an epically bad team. Did not choke against an epically bad team, did choke against a real playoff team
'
I am not proud of that.

I mean what do we do here? I show you proof it's not me making up Tampa's faults. But I know you do NOT like facts that disprove your opinion and accusations.

Fire at will.

Never...EVER said that,.

Maybe if you tell me what I said I can't clarify it for you;.

By ":beating the GOAT".....well.....glad we are so proud of "beating the goat" at his very worst.

I'mma little surprised you take such a snowflake view. Do you always beat up weak and vulnerable people, even if they used to be very strong..... and claim victory?

Again, I want to make clear that my comments about Romo are not a commentary on Dak working with his receivers or the photo that was posted. I see no reason for the cheap shot on them. I think it's a great thing that Dak had a mini-field built at his home and players go there to practice together. I see that as praiseworthy. I don't see that as a reason to criticize his predecessor for perceptions about what he did or did not do during the offseason.

Yep - honestly just ignore it.

There are stories of a young Romo throwing to receivers in a hotel parking lot but of course as soon as you say that somebody says prove it.

It’s like Aikman throwing hundreds of wet balls on his own because he had a rep of struggling with them but nobody saw him do it.

As the saying goes…

“Greatness happens in the dark.”

I backed up my claims. There is no proof of Romo having practiced with his receivers during March and April, but there is proof of Dak doing it. That's the difference. Hope you feel better soon.

He is a very rich man that plays football for 4 months. Let's say official team employer time is ....9 months.

Wouldn't you want your friend. team mate and nfl player to come over and work out have fun during the other 3 months?

THAT...is remarkably "praiseworthy"?

Seems like automatic.

It's NOT an "unreasonable "criticism"". I bet Dak and ceedee did it without regards to "praiseworthy" and heroic effort.

You didn't back up your claim. Saying there's no proof isn't proof. Saying someone didn't do something because you don't see evidence that they did isn't proof.

I drive the speed limit every day and have been doing it since the 1980s after getting two back-to-back speeding tickets. I can't prove that I drive the speed limit every day, so if you used that lack of proof to say that I speed, I couldn't dispute with evidence. Doesn't make it true, but there's no evidence. (Sorry first example that came to my mind for some reason.)

This is an old claim against Romo, and having always defended Romo against senseless attacks, I absolutely remember it being refuted. Since I can't easily find that proof, if you want to believe I'm lying, that's fine. Doesn't make what you believe about him true but I can't force you to realize you are wrong any more than you can those who believe every interception is Dak's fault (yes, even if you show them the interceptions because they if the receiver was wrong on the route, unless the receiver comes out and says he was wrong, then they are not going to believe it). Perceptions are too often stronger than reality.

There was no reason for any criticism in this thread, whether considered reasonable or unreasonable.

Romo gets teammates on practice schedule

By The Associated Press
May 10, 2011

6CRomo39pBWCOLOR_t800.jpg

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, right, and tight end Jason Witten run drills at the team's headquarters and training facility Friday, April 29, 2011, in Irving, Texas.

<snip>

Quarterback Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys kind of like it that way. For now, at least.

With the lockout keeping NFL teams from their usual offseason practices, Romo has organized a series of workouts that have been attended by more than 40 players.

<snip>

The sessions, which began last week, aren’t just guys hanging out or throwing balls around. They are highly structured, with Romo watching the clock and blowing a whistle at the end of each drill so everyone knows to move on to the next one. There are walkthrough periods and specific plays to be worked on each day.

“It’s literally like we’re doing the same things we’d be doing at an OTA [organized team activity] - the tempoand everything,” Romo said Monday. “I’ve been around it long enough that I have plenty of schedules laying around my house that I’ve been able to use for the time frame. We’re at stretch for seven minutes. Bam, you go right into ‘pat and go.’ We move right into ‘move the ball.’ And guys are going. You jump in and, boom, you’re in the next play. We’re pushing it. ... I can’t imagine other teams going quite to the extent of the team practices, and that’s exciting to us.”
