Good to see QB1 and WR1 putting in the work

I think it would have to be a good team…..then at that point what sense does to make to trade him for bad picks?
Depends on the comp, I dont think Dak would stay here when the franchise publically says they dont want him...most QB's wouldn't.

That’s not the Cowboys MO though. They have never came out and said they don’t want someone lol. Not even Taco or Trysten lol. They are locked into to Dak. I guess maybe it would take something drastic like him falling completely off. Something we’ve never seen before.

The point is to work on timing, not overcome DB’s. Have you never actually practiced as a QB/WR duo before? The QB has to adjust his throws to match the speed of each receiver. That is what they are doing. It has nothing to do with reading coverages or preventing interceptions. It’s just basic practice that every QB needs with his receivers.
Nothing wrong with working on routes. Perhaps they are working on NEW routes and not come back or curl routes. Pretty sure Dak and Lamb know the timing on those.

I dont think they would but the no trade clause is not as hampering as people like to think.

If it was up to some of the Dak bashers, the Cowboys would never be in the tournament because they would be juggling QBs between veteran castoffs and wasted draft picks.
a lot of them don't want to see cowboys succeed. they are the Bash Dak over Dallas cult. if Dallas succeeds, they have nothing to complain about.
one of them actually said, he wants to see dallas lose in the playoffs. no kidding.

There’s no doubt some don’t want the Cowboys to succeed, you have fans on this board that pull against Dak. They want the team to lose every week so they’ll move on from him. It’s pretty sad! You have one idiot that never shows up when the Cowboys win and Dak plays well, he only shows up when the team loses, so he can blame Dak. That’s not normal fan behavior. Fans with an agenda like that should be banned.

I mean it depends on the timing. If he’s good and the Cowboys are good…I don’t see him waving it so they can get someone. But if it’s an ugly marriage there’s potential to waive it I’d think. Especially ton a good team.

They were bashing him before he ever got paid. Go back and review all of the old threads of fans not wanting to pay him. Look at the long list of veteran castoffs they would’ve rather had at a cheaper price. They’re all crying about the Cowboys not being able to reach a Super Bowl but want a castoff who’s bouncing around the league leading the team.
Well some do. I'm all for drafting a potential quarterback that might become a starter in case Dak doesn't work out.

Good to see, but it is also what we expected. They do this every year. Which is a good thing.
I wonder if they have any of the new plays and routes MM plans to implement.

I know many will think, and it has already been posted. That it means nothing. But it really does mean something. Only means nothing to those with agendas.
"It means nothing"...as in this is the barest of minimums. No pun intended on ceedee legs.

I expect this. It's not some above and beyond impressive act.

"putting in the work". Tell that to 10-12 hour 6-7 days a week factory worker or waiter/waitress.

Not mean as a dis on them. Just my opinion on the reality of the situation.

Uhm... isn't that what Training camp is for? These guys are working on their own time... and it's is somehow not enough... Meanwhile most of you are illegally reading this while on the clock... LOL!!
No one said it "Wasn't enough".

But also not sure parades and balloons are warranted either.

It seems to me training in the off season is an expectation. Well okay good for them then.

12 games 2 years in a row and we finally won a playoff game beating the dreaded Brady and Dak went for 300 yards and 5 TD's in a flawless performance.

These are the same trolls that were telling us just 3 years ago that they like wins and stats were for losers. Now that were winning they are back to stats and picks. LOL
"dreaded brady...and those mighty Bucs!"

When we faced a real playoff team we choked.

Fact.

Good point about new routes. Although any work is good work because it helps with timing, if there are specific things McCarthy wants, it would be good to start working on them now.

And it’s the off-season, free agency mostly done, draft still a bit ahead of us.

What do people expect?

Also, all the insults and bickering gets old.
I'm always amazed by all of these sad sacks constantly talking trash about our own players. I'm convinced they were just as miserable and calling Troy, Emmitt, and Mike garbage during the '90s.
