Hey I didn't like it when we sat our starters either, and I agree that it did indeed cost us the playoffs, and it wasn't the 1st time we've made that mistake.
But that's not the point. The point is, a lot of teams do that because they're looking ahead. They're willing to sacrifice a meaningless game for the sake of trying to improve their chances in the playoffs by not risking injuries.
It didn't help the Cowboys when they did that, don't know yet about the eagles.
If we had sat our starters against the eagles like they did, we might've gained an advantage in the draft. To me, that's worth more than a meaningless 6-0 so-called win over the eagle's practice squad.
BTW, you stated "I always play to win".........Well, back when the Cowboys were winning championships, they always played to win as well, but that doesn't mean they didn't lose a few on the way up.
