If Goose is as reliable as usual I am hopeful we go OLB/DE at 51.

Then come back to safety at 69.

He's hinted we would and now I rather see why.

At 51. Barwin, English, Sintim, Robiskie, Sean Smith would be my targets in that order assuming all guys rated above 40 are gone.

I seriously take Everette Brown at 51

it'll probably be Chung though, and I wouldn't mind that

I'm trying to figure out why

he's big, fast, seeks contact, no character concerns, actually is considered a class act, competitive, fluid, some compare him to DeMarcus Ware, but not that type of quick-twitch athlete, array of pass-rush moves

I guess FSU's not-so-good track record for producing DEs in the pros is really working against him, but I'd gobble him up

They label him a 4-3 DE but the guy is about perfect athletically for the 3-4. I did read they question how he was coached at FSU, never taught technique. Maybe that is it.

But, yea, I'd take him for sure.

I hope we move up with a 4th to pick up another 3rd rounder.

We've got potentially Veikune and Casey as well as R Johnson.

I like all 3 of these players.

Add Veikune to the list with another 3rd rounder, and I'd be very happy.

Honestly, I think if we trade up, it should be from the 4th round into the 3rd round. There's going to be a lot of talent available in Round 3 that we need.

Guys like J Phillips as well. I was hoping he was going to go middle of the 4th or late 4th . . . .

I think he makes his mock tomorrow

Yes, that's how I understand it.

I don't think his mock is particularly meaningful.

But his Top 100 is usually the best and most consistent.

The other guys who are very close to Goose in the Top 100 is thehuddlereport.com. They are going to post their Value Board final results tonight, I believe.
